Hilary Swank secretly ties the knot in the woods and the photos are pure love

Photos of Hilary Swank’s secret wedding in the woods have been revealed, and they are breathtaking. Swank looked stunning Ellie Saab gown.

The 44-year-old Oscar winner secretly tied the knot with her boyfriend, Philip Schneider, a social venture entrepreneur.

According to Vogue, they finally exchanged vows after almost two years since they were first seen together in November 2016.

For the first time, the actress shared details about her husband and their wedding held in Redwoods, California.

Speaking with Vogue, Swank said the only way to describe her wedding was that “it was timeless.”

“I was overwhelmed with such gratitude and thanks to be marrying the man of my dreams and to see all the people we love together in the middle of such a profound setting. It was truly a dream come true.”

As per tradition, Swank’s father walked her down the aisle. In the past, Swank stepped away from the spotlight to focus on helping her father recover from a lung transplant.

The actress was also joined by her close friend, Mariska Hargitay, who was a bridesmaid at the wedding party.

Apart from the wedding, Swank also shared details when Schneider proposed to her in Colorado.

“We stumbled upon a beautiful sanctuary deep in the mountains. It had a stunning waterfall that cascades down to rustic cabins built in the 1800s surrounded by beautiful pines and big skies,” Swank described of the place.

She went on to tell that Schneider got down on one knee one evening in front of the waterfall.

Swank gushed that her new husband was sweet for making sure that her dogs witnessed the proposal.

The couple has always been private about their relationship. They began dating just a few months after Swank called off her engagement with tennis pro Ruben Torres.

Previously, Swank had been married to actor Chad Lowe for a decade, but they were divorced in 2007.
