Steve Harvey celebrates his 'princess' step-daughter Lori's 22nd birthday in touching tribute post

Lori Harvey, the stepdaughter of TV host and comedian Steve Harvey, turned 22 and his famous parents took to social media to show their love on such a special milestone.

In Steve's case, he uploaded a photo showing the beautiful young woman wearing a beige jacket while posing for the picture in the most beautiful way. In the caption, Steve wrote, "Happy birthday to my princess [Lori] and she knows it!!!! I love you."

Marjorie, as expected, went above and beyond as she uploaded several photos showing her and Lori. Apart from posing together in beautiful dresses and outfits, Lori also appeared alone rocking some sexy ensembles.

The last picture of the slideshow portrayed Marjorie about 21 years ago wearing a white top while gently holding and hugging Lori, who was just a baby, in her arms. In the caption, Marjorie wrote, "Happy Birthday to my amazing daughter Lori! Keep Soaring Baby! I love You."

BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Later, the proud mother kept uploading images of the birthday celebration. One of them showed Marjorie wearing black high heels, tight black pants, a black jacket and matching sunglasses while kissing Lori on the cheek.

The 22-year-old lady chose a beautiful beige jumpsuit for the outing. In the last image that Marjorie uploaded, Steve joined the ladies and posed in black sweatpants, matching shirt, a grey jacket, a hat, and black sunglasses.

GETTING BACKLASH

Lori is a very talented model who has worked with important modeling agencies, including LA Models and Select Model Management in Europe. If being a model wasn't hard enough, the fact that she is the step-daughter of one of the most iconic people in the USA has placed her in the middle of the storm a couple of times.

One of the aspects that have been surrounding her life recently is her relationship with Trey Songz, who is thirteen years her senior. In a photo that Lori uploaded, a follower attacked her questioning her character, something that Marjorie didn't like, of course.

DEFENDING HER DAUGHTER

The attacker wrote, "they say she's a *expletive* is it true?" to what Marjorie replied, "this is my daughter… not your mother,” tagging the user. Some people, though, considered that Marjorie shouldn't have said anything in this case given her "history."

Before marrying Steve, Marjorie was rumored to have an affair with him while he was still married to his ex-wife, Mary Shackelford. In fact, Mary filed a lawsuit accusing Steve of cheating on her with Marjorie, but the petition was dismissed a few months later.

Some years before Steve, Marjorie was married to drug lord Jim Townsend, the father of two of her children. Jim was later imprisoned for his dealings and five years down the line, Marjorie hooked up with Donnell Woods, another drug lord who fathered Lori.
