Dave Chappelle & Wife Elaine's Enduring Marriage of 19 Years

Late in 2018, comedian Dave Chappelle and his wife were spotted striking poses for a stunning photo with the boxing and wrestling ring announcer, Michael Buffer and his wife, Christine. Buffer's caption read:

Since the comedian released his controversial special on Netflix, titled, "Sticks & Stones," he has been making headlines and has sparked some discussions among people.

"Sticks & Stones" was Chappelle's fifth comedy special released on Netflix. In 2017, he had four different Netflix Specials titled "Equanimity," "Live at Austin City Limits," "Live at the Hollywood Palladium," and "The Bird revelation."

Elaine has kept her private life with Dave out of the spotlight for almost two decades now. In press interviews, Dave steers clear of any discussion about his wife and family.

The couple lives in Yellow Springs, Ohio, which is Dave's hometown, with their three children — two sons, Ibrahim and Sulayman, and a daughter, Sanaa, in a home that is over 3000 square feet large.

Dave spent most of his childhood in Yellow Springs and exclaimed that it was the best neighborhood ever, and that was why he had returned there after so many years.

Elaine, who was born in Brooklyn, New York, had earlier in life had dreams of becoming a chef. The love birds met in Brooklyn and got married in 2001.

Following their marriage, the pair had their first child, Sulayman, followed by Ibrahim and their daughter, Sanaa. Elaine then decided to dedicate her time to raising their brood.

Although the duo have done quite an excellent job of keeping their marriage and their kids away from the public eye, it is clear to see that Dave and Elaine adore each other.
