Lionel Richie Celebrates His Only Son Miles' 26th Birthday with Rare Childhood Photos

Music Progeny, Miles Richie, turns 26 and is celebrated by his music legend father with adorable throwback photos.

“American Idol” judge Lionel Richie is excited about his only son clocking 26. The proud father took to his Instagram to upload three images of his son as a child.

While the singer appears in two of the photos, the third one features just Miles, who was attempting to feed himself. In the pictures with Lionel, he holds on to the little boy wearing an affectionate look on his face.

Lionel and Diane’s marriage, which was from 1995 to 2003, was also blessed with a daughter, Sofia. Like her brother, Sofia is a model.

The 70-year-old in his caption mentions that he remembers the day the pictures were taken vividly and also expressed his love for his middle child.

Miles was born in 1994 to the music industry icon and his second wife, Diane Alexander, he is a model and has worked for many famous brands.

Heavy recalls that the 26-year-old is well known for his airport scandal. He made headlines after threatening to detonate a bomb when he was denied entry into a flight and, after, punched an airport security guard while he was being detained.

The incident ended with the police issuing him a caution for a bomb hoax and he was not charged with a crime.

The outlet also adds that in a chat with Entertainment Tonight during the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show in 2018, he considered himself a “mama’s boy” even though he is not an only child.

Lionel and Diane’s marriage, which was from 1995 to 2003, was also blessed with a daughter, Sofia. Like her brother, Sofia is a model, and she has been modeling since she was a teenager.

According to Daily Mail, like her father, the model also wished her older brother a happy birthday on Instagram with a slideshow of childhood pictures.

In her heartwarming caption, she considered herself lucky to have him as a brother. She also promised him, “No matter what, we have each other!” Hollywood Life shares that the siblings have both walked on the “New York Fashion Show” for Philipp Plein.

Sofia was on the runaway in 2017 while her brother and other celebrity children, including Snoop Dogg‘s son Cordell Broadus and Diddy‘s son Christian Combs, were featured in the 2018 edition.
