Man Tells His Wife It Is Her Fault That They Are Homeless

A man who believes his wife is the reason they were kicked out of their home wants to know if blaming her for their homeless circumstance is wrong.

The concerned man took to Reddit to reveal that he, his wife, and their children, a 5-year-old boy and a 3-year-old girl, were recently kicked out of his mother's house.

He explained that his wife is super strict regarding sugar, so anything sweet is banned for the kids. However, one day, his stepfather came home with a donut for his 12-year-old sister, and that caused his daughter to flip.

The whole house soon became heated as his wife accused his stepfather of being selfish and bringing a donut into the home despite knowing her rule.

The stepfather got angry at the confrontation about his behavior in the house and began insulting the wife, using her physical features against her. In the background, his mother and sister were laughing at the argument, while he tried to diffuse the matter.

Unfortunately, things escalated and became worse as his wife grabbed the donut from his sister's hand and flung it into the dustbin. This caused his mother and stepfather to get even angrier, and the heat intensified.

He tried to help, but when his kids began throwing tantrums, he took them aside. His sister asked if she could arrest the wife while the stepfather was saying violent things.

The poster got so afraid and immediately took his wife and kids out of his mother's house. An hour later, his mother called him and warned him not to return because his sister no longer feels safe because of a donut.

Over the phone, he could hear his stepfather, who is middle eastern, threaten to hurt him and spit on his grave. On the other hand, his wife was cursing at his mom when he silenced her and told her it was all her fault, to begin with.

She began crying and asked him to take back his words, but he refused, and now she won't talk to him. Many Redditors couldn't side with the poster, his wife, or even his family as they accused him of being irresponsible and not having a home despite having two kids.

Others were focused on his wife's snarky attitude and how she thought it was right to police somebody's food choice. Some couldn't fathom why his mother would act that way to her son.
