An insider close to Jennifer Lopez and her fiance, Alexander Rodriguez, has revealed that they are both looking forward to tying the knot, and plans are still being made.

In a chat with Hollywood Life, an insider close to Jennifer “J-Lo” Lopez and her fiance, Alexander Rodriguez opened up about how the pair is looking forward to tying the knot once the pandemic is over.

The source revealed that once the pandemic is over, Lopez was going full force on the wedding, and everyone in the family was going to be involved as they all had important roles to play.

While one might wonder if the delay in wedding plans might be affecting the couple, the insider mentioned that they were cool with the way things turned out and are currently rolling with the punches and delay.

It was also revealed that both Lopez and Rodriguez were not in a rush to get married, which was why they did not opt to do a small ceremony. The source added that they would rather wait till the coast is clear and do things the way they want.

Interestingly, it is not only Lopez and Rodriguez that are planning for the wedding. Emme, Lopez’s daughter, has revealed that she is also planning something for her mother’s big day. She mentioned that she was considering singing a song for her mother and Alex on their wedding day.

Since they started dating, they have successfully blended their families, and all the kids are close.

Emme added that although she had a song in mind that connected her with her mother, she wanted a song that would be connecting for both her mother and Rodriguez.

Although Emme is excited that her mother and Rodriguez are getting married, there was a time the pre-teen was not aware that they were dating. Emme revealed that she initially thought they were friends, but as time progressed, she began to realize there was more.

While some kids might find it hard to accept who their parents are dating, for Lopez and Rodriguez, their kids were on board with the decision. Since they started dating, they have successfully blended their families, and all the kids are close.

Lopez has two kids: twins Emme and Maximillian from her previous marriage to Marc Anthony, and Rodriguez has two daughters: Natasha and Ella from his previous marriage to Cynthia Scurtis.

In all, irrespective of the time the wedding would hold, all the kids have certain roles they are going to play. Emme is going to be singing alongside joining Natasha and Ella as bridesmaids while Maximillian would be the one to give his mum away at the altar.
