Kim Kardashian Stuns Celebrating 40th Birthday in a Chic Gold Mini-Dress with Her Siblings

On October 21, 2020, reality star Kim Kardashian celebrated her 40th birthday. The businesswoman wore a beautiful golden-colored dress for her celebrations that were held with the help of her siblings.

Kim Kardashian officially turned 40 this month with the E! network making her feel special on the day. The “Keeping up with the Kardashians (KUWTK)” reality celebrated her special day last week but only shared some of her birthday photos this week.

Her event was held on a private island with close family members, her siblings, and friends. The television personality wore a stunning metallic gold and white dress to ring in the great milestone.

The mini-dress’ hem didn’t reach her knees and featured a layered bust-lifting design. It also had a white panel that snaked its way around her waist and ribs with a cut-out design and added matching gold shoes

Taking to her Instagram Story on Tuesday night, Kardashian shared several clips to give her fans a look into her birthday celebrations. She also shared some images from the event on her Instagram account.

In a lengthy caption of the post, the star discussed her special occasion. Kardashian started off by revealing how she actually felt at the prospect of finally turning 40 this year, by writing:

“40 and feeling so humbled and blessed.”

Kardashian explained how she didn’t take any day for granted especially now with the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease. She shared that, because of this, she had chosen to celebrate her special day with the people who’d made her who she is today.

The reality star noted how before COVID-19 happened, most people hadn’t appreciated the privilege of being able to travel and be with family and friends. She then explained the precautions that she’d taken to make sure everyone was safe at her party.

The businesswoman shared how everyone had gotten several health screenings for two weeks before her event. Kardashian even went as far as asking her guests to self-quarantine to avoid any risk of catching the virus.

Even though Kim Kardashian acknowledged her privilege, some of her fans were still not happy with her trip.

She then surprised them with a trip to the private island where they could pretend that things were normal again. The reality star explained how they spent time riding bikes, dancing, swimming close to whales, watching films on the beach, kayaking, and more.

Noting how being able to go off to an island at the drop of the hat was a privilege, the star said she was “humbled.” Even though she acknowledged her privilege, some of her fans were still not happy with her trip.

One person complained about her friend not being able to attend their mother’s funeral because of COVID-19 and noted how Kardashian could afford to go swimming with whales. Someone else felt the reality star could’ve kept the celebration to herself instead of flaunting it publically.
