Angelina Jolie Gives Honest Take on How She's Faring with Traditional Motherhood
In a recent interview, acclaimed actress Angelina Jolie admitted that she doesn't feel confident she is up to the task of being a stay-at-home mother.
For British Vogue's March issue, Edward Enninful spoke with Angelina Jolie, who has long been cited as one of the most influential actresses in the entertainment industry, about her daily life at home.
Jolie has many kids under her belt, so it comes as no surprise that she loves gushing about being a parent. She has Maddox, Pax, Zahara, Shiloh, and twins Knox and Vivienne.

When asked if she can describe a typical day with her family, Jolie said she was never good at sitting still. The actress and Brad Pitt have been co-parenting their kids ever since they split in 2014.
As much as she wanted children, the "A Mighty Heart" star said she always imagined herself being a mother like Jane Goodall, trekking around in the middle of the jungle.
"I didn't imagine it in that true, traditional sense. I feel like I'm lacking in all the skills to be a traditional stay-at-home mom," explained Jolie, who is also known for her humanitarian works.
The actress said she coped due to the children's resilience, and they helped her, but that she wasn't good at it at all. Jolie went on to say that they have such a close relationship.
Jolie said she considers herself "so lucky" that she has so many children.
Meanwhile, in conjunction with the recent issue of British Vogue, Jolie was photographed with some of her children. The star is seen cutting Maddox's hair in one of the photos taken by Craig McDean.
The picture shows Maddox without a shirt and has tattoos displayed. On the other hand, Jolie, looking comfortably dressed, is holding his locks up to tie them up in a hair tie.
In August 2020, Entertainment Tonight interviewed Jolie, where she discussed her children's support for her during her quarantine and how they supported each other.
Jolie said she considers herself "so lucky" that she has so many children since they really take care of each other. She added that she is not alone in managing everything because they help her.

Jolie and Pitt, after years of drama, managed to resolve their differences and move toward a respectful co-parenting relationship. However, there have been reports of their issues ramping up again.
According to a source talking to Us Weekly in September, tensions between Jolie and Pitt, who married on August 23, 2014, have escalated with family therapy no longer being held.
