Justin Timberlake is defending his ex-girlfriend Britney Spears. The singer put up a series of tweets last night as he shared his thoughts concerning the ongoing conservatorship battle that Spears is facing.
Timberlake showed nothing but support for Britney, noting that no one should be subjected to such a condition where all their life decisions are made by someone else.

Timberlake added that no woman should be made to subject in a way that she has no right over her body, alluding that their messy pst shouldn't stop him from voicing out on her behalf. The "Cry Me A River" crooner wrote:
"Regardless of our past, good and bad, and no matter how long ago it was… what’s happening to her is just not right."
Concluding his post, the award-winning singer, relayed that he was reaching out to Britney on behalf of himself and his wife, Jessica Biel. Timberlake’s tweet comes in line with Britney’s recent appearance in court.
Timberlake’s recent support holds some significance because of how far back he and Britney go.
On Wednesday, the "Toxic" singer addressed the court for the first time following the 13-year duration of a conservatorship arrangement that had her father, Jamie Spears, and his team at the helm of her affairs.
The conservatorship arrangement put Jamie in charge of her decisions and finances since 2008 after she underwent a mental health crisis. Addressing the situation, Britney noted that the deal has been “abusive.”
She informed the court that she wanted the conservatorship to be reversed and done without her getting evaluated. The pop icon also shockingly revealed that she would love to have a child and also get married to her boyfriend.
Since the conservatorship issue cropped up, many fans have shown support to Britney with the hashtag #freeBritney” that has trended all over social media. Stars like Brandy, Mariah Carey, and Rose McGowan have joined Timberlake to show support.
Timberlake’s recent support holds some significance because of how far back he and Britney go. The pair were childhood sweethearts starting out as tweens on “The All-New Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.”
Timberlake and Britney had a huge crush on each other, and years after leaving their child-content show, they reconnected. The teen idols started dating in 1999, making them the ultimate power couple in the industry.
Fans were as obsessed with their music as their love life. The highly-publicized relationship also spawned some iconic fashion moments like the duo’s unforgettable denim on denim look at the 2001 American Music Awards.
However, their love did not endure. Timberlake and Britney, also known as “Pinky and Stinky” split up in 2002. Cheating rumors swirled, and Timberlake fueled it more when he released his song, “Cry Me A River.”
In recent times, the “Mirror” crooner has sent out a public apology to Britney about his past misconduct, and he is also showing immense support during her present legal battles.
