19-Year-Old Finds Love in 61-Year-Old Father-of-Two, Horrified Parents Decide to Intervene

Love transcends all boundaries, and this couldn't be truer for a 19-year-old teenager who found her soulmate in a 61-year-old man. The couple met through an online dating site and instantly felt the sparks between them.

Life is clearly full of surprises, and we never know what the next day might bring. The same happened with Audrey Cheyenne-Smiley Moon, a young girl who found the love of her life in Kevin, who is 42 years older.

Despite the huge age gap, the couple is head over heels in love with one another and determined to inspire the world with their romantic story. The lovely duo crossed paths online through a dating site Badoo in January 2020 and immediately clicked with each other.

Audrey and Kevin began chatting online, which continued for several months. Eventually, they grew so fond of each other that they longed to meet in person. Soon, they became a couple and even confessed their feelings. Audrey further added:

"Kevin made the first move. He took my face in his hands and we had our first kiss when we first met face to face. We can both agree truly that it was love at first sight."

Finally, they met in July 2020 in California, where they were both living at the time, and shared an intimate kiss. Neither Audrey nor Kevin had ever been in a relationship with a large age difference, but they were enthusiastic about making things work.

The couple instantly connected with each other because of their common military background, which was their first topic of discussion, and immediately strengthened their bond. However, Kevin didn't make a good first impression on Audrey's parents. She added:

"I texted them while I was away with him and we came back to my parent’s house to my entire family and the cops waiting outside."

Audrey's family screamed and mistreated Kevin for three days straight, but he remained calm and stood by her side. Thanks to Kevin's perseverance, Audrey's parents finally gave him a chance and have become quite fond of him over time.

Initially, Audrey didn't reveal her relationship to her family because of the huge age gap between her and Kevin. Her beau is older than both her parents and has two kids from his marriage of 19 years, aged 23 and 16. They are both supportive of their father's relationship.

Moreover, Audrey is younger than Kevin's eldest child but refuses to let age differences come in the way of their love. She believes that she shares a profound and deep connection with Kevin, and the two of them are made for each other.

While Audrey's family and Kevin's children are happy with their relationship, the lovely couple sometimes receives negative views from strangers, including odd glances and comments that are aimed at undermining their bond.

The couple eloped and tied the knot on August 1 in a small chapel in Nevada. They are now focusing on themselves and even plan on starting a family together. Currently, Audrey is on military duty in the Middle East, while Kevin is in California.

He plans to retire next year and become a stay-at-home husband. Kevin also shared that he went on the dating site because he wanted to find a best friend in the age bracket 30-50, but somehow ended on Audrey's profile and wanted to get to know her.
