WHO IS FLORENCE PUGH'S BOYFRIEND?

The lucky one is American actor Zach Braff. Although Braff is best known as J.D. in the hilarious TV series "Scrubs," he is also a respected director.

His first film, "Garden State," was nominated for several awards and won him the Grammy for Best Soundtrack Album. Braff was also nominated for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for a "Ted Lasso" episode.

The beginning of Braff and Pugh's relationship was quite unusual. It started with Braff praising Pugh's performance in "Lady Macbeth" and calling her a "movie star" on Twitter. Around the same time, he began liking her Instagram posts.

In January 2019, he uploaded a photo from Oxford, England (Pugh's hometown). The "Black Widow" actress later shared a picture with her dad, so everyone was convinced they traveled to England together to meet Pugh's family.

Zach Braff and Florence Pugh made their relationship Instagram official in November 2019 after they posted photos of their group visit to Disneyland. Still, they prefer to keep most details under wraps.

I have the right to hang out and be with and go out with anyone I want to.

FLORENCE PUGH DEFENDED THEIR RELATIONSHIP

It doesn't mean they will let others criticize their romance, though. In December 2019, Braff commented on one of Pugh's Instagram posts, and a netizen attacked him for being 21 years older than her.

Pugh defended their relationship by writing, "And yet he got it." Months later, the "Midsommar" actress shared a video asking people to stop cyber-bullying Braff for being in a relationship with her.

In another interview with Elle, Pugh said her comments defending her older boyfriend were necessary. She added:

"Because people need to realize that it's hurtful. I have the right to hang out and be with and go out with anyone I want to."

Unfortunately, not everything in Zach Braff and Florence Pugh's relationship has been a walk in the park. Lockdown was especially challenging because one of their best friends, Broadway actor Nick Cordero, died of coronavirus.

Cordero's wife and young son lived in Braff's guest house while the actor received treatment in the hospital. All the emotions she faced during lockdown made her realize she had "issues with anxiety."

ZACH BRAFF'S PREVIOUS CELEBRITY ROMANCES

Zach Braff is Florence Pugh's first famous boyfriend, but Braff has been romantically involved with a few other celebrities, including Mandy Moore.

Moore and Braff began dating in 2004 and parted ways in 2006, with her comparing their relationship and split to icing on a "burned cake."

In 2015, Braff found love again with model Taylor Bagley. They dated for five years before amicably calling it quits in 2020. Florence Pugh and Zach Braff's love has overcome all challenges. Way to go!
