Michael Jordan's son Marcus Jordan is not just a former college basketball player and the son of one of the greatest basketball players. He is also an entrepreneur and businessman.

Marcus Jordan has walked in his father's footsteps and was remarkably successful as a high school and university basketball player, leading his team to multiple victories and successes.

Despite being a talented basketball player and business owner, Marcus Jordan has had some problems with authorities that once led to his arrest.

Marcus Jordan Played Basketball in High School and College

Marcus is the second and middle child of his parents and was born on December 24, 1990. While his father is one of the greatest basketball players, Michael Jordan, his mother is Juanita Vanoy.

His parents were married for 17 years before his father married Yvette Prieto in 2013. Marcus has an elder brother Jeffrey, who was born on November 18, 1988, and played basketball, but not professionally.

Jeffrey is married to Radina Aneva, works for the Jordan brand at Nike, and is the co-founder of Heir Jordan and Jordan Avakian Group.

Marcus has a younger sister, Jasmine, born on December 7, 1992. Unlike her elder brothers, she did not play basketball but studied sports management.

He is also the half-brother of Victoria and Ysabel, the identical twins born on February 9, 2014. However, their lives have been kept private as they are still young.

Marcus attended Loyola Academy, played for the basketball team, and led them to a successful championship before transferring to Whitney Young High School for his last two seasons.

In 2009, he attended the University of Central Florida and also played for the basketball team. He also owns a basketball shoe and apparel store known as Trophy Room.

The store specializes in Michael Jordan's signature shoes. On May 31, 2019, the business closed its physical store at Disney Springs and moved online.

Marcus's business opened in 2016 at the Walt Disney World shopping and entertainment district. With the online move, the company's brand focus shifted to provide a new environment for community participation among sneaker and fashion fans.

Marcus Jordan Had Some Problems with Authorities

While in college in 2009, Marcus caused the basketball team to lose its partnership with Adidas in his first year. During an exhibition game, he refused to remove his Nike Air Jordan for the Adidas brand.

His actions were a sign of loyalty to Nike and his father. However, Adidas would not stand for it and ended its $3 million deal sponsorship contract with the University of Central Florida.

In 2010, Marcus also got into trouble with the authorities after he tweeted that he and his brother spent over $50,000 at a Las Vegas pool lounge and nightclub. The Nevada Gaming Control Board had to investigate his visit because he was underage.

In 2012, they arrested him outside a hotel in Nebraska after a drunken altercation with the police. The arrest occurred during an argument with two women.

The police charged him with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, and obstructing justice before booking him into the Douglas County Department of Corrections.

In September 2022, Marcus Jordan, the spitting image of his father, Michael Jordan, was spotted with Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of his father's teammate, Scottie Pippen.

Marcus and Larsa were seen on a reported double afternoon date with another couple at the Japanese restaurant Zuma in downtown Miami on September 4, 2022.

According to reports, the couple was in the restaurant for 45 minutes and showed no signs of being in a romantic relationship. However, Larsa supposedly became uncomfortable once she realized people were taking pictures of them.
