Johnny Depp looks ill in new photos taken with fans
Johnny Depp has sparked concern after appearing dramatically different while touring Russia with his rock band.
According to Pop Culture, the 54-year-old movie star is currently on a month-long tour with his rock tribute band the Hollywood Vampires. The supergroup first formed in 2015 and went on to release their self-titled album the same year.
Two Russian women took pictures with the Pirates of the Caribbean actor at the Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace in St. Petersburg, Russia. Fans commented on Johnny's pale and emaciated appearance with some concerned that the actor has fallen ill.
Johnny showed off his extensive tattoo work as he wore a T-shirt decorated with the slogan, 'Stay humble or be humbled.' He was looking visibly thinner than in previous appearances.
Depp also wore a baseball cap that said 'FUGLY' and dark sunglasses in the images where he appeared "sick" according to many social media users. Posing with supporters, he completed the look with several necklaces and distressed denim jeans.
A few days later, Depp posed for a photo with an admirer wearing a hat, shades and a too-big striped shirt. He took similar photos with other fans that appear to have been since deleted, though they've gone viral on social media.
According to USA Today, the star from Pirates of the Caribbean has been in the headlines in the past year due to a few legal disputes, including one with his former management company.
The actor sued TMG and its principals Joel and Robert Mandel, alleging the managers loaned millions to third parties without permission, failed to keep proper books and invested his money in business ventures in which they had ownership interests.
Luckily, the actor fans will soon be able to watch him in theaters. Johnny will return to the big screen later this year to play the role of Grindelwald in Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Read more: @amomama_usa
