Janet Jackson, 52, spotted in baggy jumpsuit and matching scarf in recent photo
Janet Jackson looks stylish in recent pics taken at her arrival to BBC Radio 2 in the U.K, where the singer was promoting her newest single “Made for now,” her first single in three years. While her son was nowhere to be seen, the star confessed that being a mom has been the highlight of her life.
Janet Jackson visited the U.K to have an exclusive chat with “The Chris Evans Morning Show,” according to the Daily Mail, and she opted for a baggy look to protect herself from the low temperatures of the country now that fall is about to arrive.
The singer donned a buttoned-up grey jumpsuit that featured pockets and layered it with a black jacket and a black and grey scarf with a stars print. She completed the look with patent leather platform boots and some beaded bracelets.
Janet’s hair was styled in a high ponytail that left her caramel curls to flow down her back, and she rocked a glittery makeup that enhanced her facial features beautifully as she made her way out of the radio station.
Talking to Chris Evans after 20 years of their last interview, the 52-year-old singer revealed the highlights of her life in the time they haven’t spoken to each other, saying “I'm a mother, that's first. Then I guess, music, touring.”
Jackson’s gave birth to son Eissa Al Mana in January 2017. He’s the only son from her marriage to Qatari businessman Wissam Al Mana, with whom she married in 2012 and split later in 2017. According to reports, the couple realized after their son was born that their cultural differences were too much for them to handle.
The “Rhythm Nation” interpreter revealed to Billboard a few months ago that she found a deeper meaning of love after having her son. She said:
“And while we’re talking about positivity, let me also say that my son, even in his short 17 months on the planet, has shown me that love, no matter how deeply you believe you have experienced that emotion, can always go deeper. Love is limitless.”
Jackson also revealed that after living her life being worried about appearances and what people would think of her, she now has other priorities thanks to little Eissa, and she couldn’t be happier about it.
“For someone like me, raised in show business where self-concern is always a priority, how fortunate I am now to be concerned, first and foremost, with the welfare of someone else. Day after day and night after night, holding my baby in my arms, I am at peace. I am blessed. I feel bliss. In those moments, all is right with the world.”
