The video of an angry man at an airport complaining and comparing the way the police were treating him with the way they treat black people became viral.

Police officers reportedly got a call about a disruptive passenger, identified as Jeffrey Epstein, a 59-year-old doctor in Lakeland, Florida, who was being loud at the American Airlines ticket counter in the Orlando International Airport.

When officers arrived at the scene, Epstein got even angrier. Things got worse when he learned that he was being kicked off from his flight due to his behavior.

At that point, he started saying that one of the policemen was trying to provoke him. “Do you know how to de-escalate things, genius. No, you’re not. You’re talking about me foaming at the mouth,” added the man.

RESISTING THE ARREST

After that, Epstein kept being aggressive to the officers, so they tried to arrest him. However, he was opposing it, so the officers took him to the floor and attempted to do it while the doctor was on the ground.

TREATING HIM LIKE A "BLACK PERSON"

The man started laughing at the entire incident and told the officers that they were being rough on him. Before the video ended, he yelled at the policemen: “You’re treating me like a [expletive] Black person.”

NO REASON TO TRUST THEM

After he was released from jail, he told WESH that if the police did what they did to a 59-year-old white doctor for doing nothing, Black people had no reason to trust them.

"I’m a conservative Republican; I’m a Trump guy. But until the police fix this problem, I don’t blame black people for being upset when they get arrested," pointed out Epstein.

THE REASON HE WAS YELLING

The man finally pointed out that he was loud because he wanted everyone to see. He added that big companies had to take care of customers and that if they call the police, they are supposed to de-escalate things, not make them worse.

POLICEMAN MISTREATING A BLACK PERSON

Epstein’s complaint was related to the several cases of abuse that Black people often face from the police. Floyd Dent, who was 58 at the time of the incident, is a clear example of it as two officers pulled him over, dragged him out of his white Bentley, and threw him onto the ground.

Apart from that, one of the officers put him in a chokehold and hit him in the heat 16 times. Later, the officers took Dent to a cell in the station and started making fun of him by cleaning his blood off their uniforms with disinfectant.

Soon after that, the charges against Dent were dropped, and he arranged a $1.4 million settlement with the city of Inkster, where the incident happened.
