The father-of-two uploaded his cover of Ballard's iconic song on YouTube, which already amassed more than 90,000 views.
One YouTube user wrote, "Your voice actually took me back to old school country. Don't stop singing buddy. Very impressed ."
"I just saw you on Facebook and am completely blown away," added another user. "What a beautiful voice and what I like most is you don't sound like or try to sound like anyone else. This is the best version I have heard. That is real country. I hope you have a CD out. I'm going to search for some more of your music. Good Luck with your career."
"The way he sings this song is way better than the original," another fan commented.
Pidgley began singing country music at the age of three. He is a married man with two beautiful daughters.
Another country music singer who captured the hearts of many people was Scotty McCreery.
During the final rounds of "American Idol" season 10, McCreery, then 17, performed Elvis Presley‘s iconic song, “That’s All Right, Mama.”
McCreery was named the champion, making him the youngest male winner. He went head to head in the finale against Lauren Alaina.
Now at age 24, he has turned out to be known for his commitment to keeping country music country.
Even years after his "American Idol" debut, the singer continues to amaze the world.
