Dr. Strange's The Only Way How Avengers Can Win Over Thanos Might Finally Be Discovered

Next year May the 3rd, we see the release of  Avengers 4. This is an excellent sequel for fans to look forward to. There have been many efforts to solve the hidden mysteries of the Infinity War saga where Doctor Strange attempts to examine all the alternative futures and how the Avengers can defeat Thanos.

The outcome was somewhat unexpected as Doctor Strange ended up giving the Time Stone to Thanos and the fans were not happy with this. In the Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos was able to successfully assemble all six stones and wipe out half of the universe. While Doctor Strange turns to dust, he tells Iron Man that it was the only way. What a disappointment!

There is a new theory that may be the answer the Avenger need to defeat Thanos, and we will delve into the pot and sift through it thoroughly.

Thanos is the Mad Titan who seems to be a big deal these days, and he is one of the bad guys. So how do we solve a callosal problem? Let us look through the history of the comics and weigh the pros and cons that got the fans to a resolution.

Thanos War (1974)

Thanos originally started as a Dr. Claw-type of a villain who never got his hands dirty. Using his newfound omnipotence, Thanos discarded the Cosmic Cube after ridding the earth of its population. The source of Thanos's abilities was the Cosmic Cube, and the only way to kill him was to destroy the Cube itself.

Death Watch (1977)

To prevent Thanos from blowing up the solar system, Adam Warlock joined the Avengers. Failing horribly, the Warlock was killed, and his soul wound up inside the Soul Stone with Gamora and Pit the Troll. While Thanos was noted as the best villain, he was turned into a statue by the ghost form of Adam Warlock.

Spidey Super Stories (1979)

Thanos appeared in the all-ages 70's pile of Spidey Super Stories. This was a rather comical series with some weird and ridiculous moments. The character, Speedy, managed to get the Cosmic Cube and wrap Thanos up in grass. Thanos was then escorted by the police in handcuffs. Not really funny but that is what happened.

Infinity Gauntlet (1991)

Thanos had the Gauntlet and was victorious. After defeating all the superheroes, he went head-to-head with Eternity himself. Thanos, who became a living force in the fabric of the cosmos, had escaped his physical body. Nebula snatched the Gauntlet, and in doing so demoted Thanos. Thanos then joined the heroes to defeat Nebula and faked his death afterward by getting hit so hard by Thor that he exploded.

Urban Jungle (1998)

Mark Waid and Andy Kubert did a Ka-Zar ongoing that lasted around a year back in the late 90's. Ka-Zar too on the form of Thor's evil brother who ended up working for Thanos. Thanos had some strange plot based on terraforming the entire universe, and that is where poor Hillbilly Stephen King got to meet his peculiar demise. If you are a Stephen King fan, you will recognize that reference. Thanos rose from the lava and did not die there.

Call of the Wild (1998)

After Thanos loss to Ka-Zar, he was locked in a sort of energy dimension unable to escape. Reminds me a bit of Superman... He tried to convince the Hulk to pull him out, but Nate Grey interfered. Hulk and X-Man forged a team, and Thanos was no match for them.

Squirrel girl (2006)

Squirrel Girl joined the Great Lakes Avengers and ran into action and defeated Thanos all on her own with Uatu the Watcher verifying that it was indeed him. We have NO idea how she won. In a later comic, they claim it was not him. So much for that victory...

Marvel Adventures (2006)

In this family-friendly version, all the heroes create duplicates of themselves to fight Thanos 10-1. This, of course, did not work out but Sue was able to funnel the fog into Thano's mouth, allowing the nanites to shut his body down from the inside. Nice try though.

Marvel Zombies 2 (2007)

Originally, Marvel Zombies had a handful of heroes and zombies that devoured Galactus and absorbed his cosmic abilities. Zombi Thanos ranted about Zombie Hulk overeating food like a lover's quarrel and Hulk smacked Thanos over the head causing an enormous explosion. Gladiator tried eating some of Thano's brains and skull fragments but landed up getting sick instead. Disgusting. Zombies have no table manners.

The Newer Fantastic Four (2009)

Wolverine, Spider-Man, Hulk and Ghost Rider remain the faces of the New Fantastic Four due to the demise of the original team. Their attempts to fight Thanos did not work either. Wolverine saved the universe while Hulk beat down Thanos and Spider-Man set things right with the Gauntlet and saved the day.

Deadpool destroys the Marvel Universe (2012)

Deadpool is an amusing character, and in one of the universes, Deadpool became aware that he's a fictional character. This made him completely wacky, turning him into a brutal nihilist and losing touch with reality. In the end, Deadpool was using the Puppet Master's puppets to control people and make them kill themselves. This included Galactus and other cosmic beings floating in dead space including the upper half of Thanos.

Avengers Assemble (2012)

The team of Avengers and Guardians set a trap for Thanos. He came to Earth to steal what he thought was a Cosmic Cube but took the bait and this leads him to the team. Hulk threw a growing Groot at Thanos and in Thano's horror, he was ambushed by several Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy who smashed and bashed him into oblivion. Luckily for Thanos, the Elders popped in to save him. So close!

Secret Wars (2015)

The Secret Wars was the story of Dr. Doom gaining omnipotence and creating a world that consisted of the scaps and broken carcasses of alternated universes. When the heroes waged war against Doom, Thanos challenged them instead. Without the Infinity Gauntlet Thanos was not as powerful and Doom tore out his spine. Poor Thanos was set up to lose.

The Shi'ar Imperial Guard (2017)

In the recent ongoing series, Thanos realizes that his body is mortal and breaking down as he regularly coughs up blood. Trying to find a cure, he went to his mentor, but his failure led to death as punishment. Shi'ar Imperial Guard then met Thanos and was overwhelmed. Exhausted and weakened, Thanos was punched out by the Gladiator and under arrest. Another knock-out!

Thanos (2017)

Being part of Death's plan all along, he was weakened even further and teleported to a slum planet, cursed to live out the rest of his miserable life. Thanks to the team of Nebula, Starfox, and the Champion of the Universe, they managed to weaken Thanos to his ultimate limit. In reality, Thane was planning on betraying them anyway, as he intended to steal a Phoenix egg and grant himself the power of the Phoenix Force.

Thanos vs. Thanos (2018)

Just imagine this scene... Thanos was brought to a distant future where he met up with himself. An older victorious self, King Thanos. He had wiped out the universe, and the only living things were his henchman Frank Castle, The Hulk, and the vengeful Silver Surfer armed with Mjolnir. Death showed up and then ordered them to fight to the death in a brutal battle, but the younger Thanos was supreme.

So that did not make any difference as he killed his future self. What do you think the outcome will be? We can't wait to see the new Avengers and see for ourselves. Remember to share this with your friends and family. Be sure to keep up to date for more Marvel adventures.
