While Tia often straightens her hair because of how unmanageable her natural hair can get, she proves that she has no problem flaunting it anyway when she needs to.
The actress, who has her own YouTube channel to share quick fixes and hacks, would often do "Quick Fix" tutorials for how to properly care for natural hair. The mom of two would show her viewers how to create a voluminous blowout on natural curls without having to use blow dryers or flat irons which might burn the hair in the process.
She revealed that like everyone else, she fried her hair with the heat when she first started straightening. However, when she realized that there was another solution, she was able to get the hairstyle she wanted without damaging her curls.
The tutorial starts off with Tia creating Bantu knots on her freshly washed and towel-dried hair. She then parts large sections of her hair using the Leonor Greyl Detangling Milk and Kim Kimble Silk Treatment that one can purchase in a beauty store, to help moisturize the tips of her hair before she starts twisting and rolling.
One dried up, she then rubbed some Kim Kimble K2 Beauty and a drop of jojoba oil onto her hair to straighten and smoothen it out before rolling it with velcro rollers. Once the curls were set, she unveiled the beautiful look.
Tia and Tamera have been under the spotlight for quite some time now, that managing their hair the proper way is something that they've had to do for years to maintain their usual looks.
With their methods, it's clear they've got it all figured out, and are willing to help out their fans and followers who have the same problem managing their hair.
