One of Luke Perry's Biggest Fans Shared Touching Story of Their Special Meeting in Hospital
A huge fan of actor Luke Perry sadly shares an encounter she had with him. Santina Muha narrated a bittersweet story of the kind gesture shown to her when she was hospitalized.
The entertainment industry and fans, in general, were shocked on Monday, March 4 when news broke that one of Hollywood's most celebrated, Luke Perry had passed away. The 52-year-old actor died after suffering from a stroke a week before.
The news of the veteran's death was released to the public by a representative of the family. Comic, Sabrina Muha was one of the first people to react to the unfortunate news on her social media page.
Muha posted a photo of herself in the company of Luke and his dog, all wearing smiles on their faces. The picture was reportedly taken while Sabrina was sick in the hospital and the star came to visit her.
"I’m praying for Luke Perry today. This is a man who drove to Chatsworth, CA to visit one of his biggest fans in the hospital, stayed for an hour, called later to check in - with no agenda or press. He is a great person & that’s his dog Angel. I’m just sad for him & hope he has a full & fast recovery." - Sabrina Muha
Muha, like every other fan of the "Beverly Hills, 90210" star, was saddened by the terrible after Luke was rushed to the ER.
"Oof this one hurts, I'm shook. I will always love you; #LukePerry," Muha tweeted Monday.
Writer Sara Benincasa also joined the world in grieving the 1990s sensation's passing after seeing the touching post of her friend, Muha.
"Luke Perry visited my friend in the hospital and brought his dog, she posted about it the other day, and it really touched my heart. @SantinaMuha is an awesome person and clearly so was he," Sara tweeted.
The father of two passed away surrounded by his two children, Jack and Sophie, his ex-wife, fiancee, parents, siblings, and some close associates.
Fans of the Riverdale star, friends and co-actors have not ceased to pour in their heartfelt condolences for the bereaved family. Among them is Ian Ziering, Molly Ringwald, and BBC reporter, Annabel Rackham. Luke's agent on behalf of the family, shared their appreciation with the message:
"The family appreciates the outpouring of support and prayers that have been extended to Luke from around the world, and respectfully request privacy in this time of great mourning."
It is such a sad moment for Hollywood and fans of the star in general.
