HOLLY ROBINSON PEETS' ACTING CAREER
Like Johnny Depp, Holly started her career on the Fox TV police drama "21 Jump Street," in the role of Judy Hoffs.
She went on to play Vanessa Russell on "Hangin' with Mr. Cooper", and Dr. Malena Ellis on the NBC/WB sitcom "For Your Love".

In 1995 Holly married NFL quarterback Rodney Peete and the couple share four children: twins, daughter Ryan Elizabeth, and son Rodney Jr, 21; and son James, 16, and Roman, 14.

A revelation on "Meet the Peets" is Holly's mom, Dolores Robinson. The feisty lady is a dynamo at 82, and sports 7 tattoos which the family calls "Gran stamps."
She founded Dolores Robinson Entertainment, the talent agency which launched the careers of Martin Sheen, Mark Wahlberg, Jada Pinkett, Tea Leoni, Emilio Estevez, Mariska Hargitay and, of course, her own daughter, Holly Robinson.
Dolores is determined to find love again, after all, age is just a number.

Holly also spoke about the difficulties families go through coping with chronic illness and disabilities, something she knows only too well.
When her own father was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease, Holly and her husband co-founded the HollyRod Foundation which is dedicated to finding a cure for the disease and render assistance to people coping with the condition.
COPING WITH SON RODNEY'S AUTISM
Holly Robinson Peete's 21-year-old son Rodney was diagnosed with autism at the age of three, which prompted the star to become active in support of the parents and children on the autism spectrum:
"He struggles valiantly with subjects like mathematics and has problems with reading, but he loves to write, and his colleagues accept him as he is."
Holly's Foundation also works to provide assistance and support fr families with autistic children, and funds investigations into the condition.
