It’s been a few busy months for rapper and singer T-Pain, but he made sure to take some time and write a lengthy post to congratulate his rarely seen wife in a heartfelt Instagram post.

The rapper and singer has been enjoying a lot of attention in the past months.

In January, he enrolled in a nine-week long journey as the Monster in Fox’s series “The Masked Singer,” which he won by stride. In February, he released his sixth studio album “1UP,” and last month, he hosted the iHeart Radio Music Awards.

He’s now back on the road promoting his album, but despite his busy schedule, T-Pain made sure to celebrate his wife’s birthday with a romantic, and funny, Instagram post.

The rapper shared a pic alongside Amber Najm where the two are rocking sunglasses while being on a beach. In his caption, T-Pain referred to Amber as “the reason I’m still alive,” and credited her for helping him get back up in his lowest moments.

“I can’t imagine my life without your presence. My goal in life is to make sure you’re happy. I promised you we would never downgrade and I’m gonna keep my promises. You’re my rock, my Dwayne, my Johnson,” he added.

“These usually end funnier but I can’t make a joke with my wife without the internet thinking I’m a serial killer so I’ll just tell you jokes when I get done takin this s**t 20 feet away from you right now. Love you babe.......... vagina. Couldn’t stop myself.”

The 33-year-old is referencing a birthday message he wrote for Amber in 2018, which started with beautiful words but ended with a way too aggressive joke that most people found distasteful and worrisome.

T-Pain and Najm, 37, will be celebrating 16 years of marriage this year,  after tying the knot in 2003, way before he was a known name in the industry.

Talking to People, the musician explained that the key to their longevity has been “listening to each other.” “See things from all sides of the situation, and just try to understand each other rather than try to be the one that’s right,” he added.

He also took the chance to slam rumors about him and his wife being in an open relationship.

“It’s definitely not that, not at all, not even close,” he said. “I wouldn’t even want to do that with a girlfriend, nonetheless my wife.”

The couple has three kids: daughter Lyriq, 15, and sons Muziq, 12, and Kaydnz, 9.

For T-Pain, who has earned two Grammy Awards, and has been featured on more than 50 chart-topping singles, his most significant achievement was the first time he was able to provide for his family.

“Being able to afford diapers and food — that was a great moment,” he says.

“I think that’s always going to be my proudest moment — figuring out how to provide for my family. Awards are always great, but in the long run, it doesn’t really say who you are. I’m more concerned about my family, my kids and my wife and making sure I can provide.”

Although the musician is currently touring around the country, he says “there’s nothing more grounding than being with family to bring you back from all the highs and the thousands of people every night.”
