Meet 'Criminal Minds' Adam Rodriguez's Model Wife and Their Two Beautiful Kids
The first couple years of actor Adam Rodriguez and model Grace Gail’s love story reads like a fairytale still being written. Having grown to a family of four, Grace and Adam’s dedication to their relationship and family is unmistakable.
The couple’s wedding venue in 2016 held special meaning to Adam. Around the age of 10, Adam made a friend during a summer camp whose Italian mother still lived in Italy. His friend went to live with his mother, and fifteen years later Adam sought him out.
After they reconnected, Adam went to stay with him in Italy for about five weeks and fell in love with everything about the country.
“I visited him in Italy the summer before CSI: Miami started and stayed there five or six weeks, and fell in love with the food, the culture, the people. And I’ve been going back every year since,” Adam told CBS in 2016.
The actor took Grace to Italy on one of their first vacations together where they conceived their daughter in 2013. Fittingly the couple wed during a forest ceremony in Tuscany, Italy on May 2, 2016.
The couple stretched their wedding celebration over a few “amazing” days while guests got treated to a light lunch in a courtyard before heading into the forest for the fairytale ceremony.
“It was amazing—it was a weeklong affair, and people came for five or six days, and we made it so that the wedding was just something that happened in the course of the week. That part of the world is special to me,” Adam said.
Two months after their wedding, Adam told ET that they are expecting their second baby. "We have one baby…and we have another one on the way," he said.
Not only did Adam get blessed with another child soon after marrying Grace, but also received an unexpected windfall in his career.
“We were riding high, because of the wedding and because we’d found out about the new baby the day we left for Italy, and I’d worked on a sitcom pilot that I thought would go to series. When we got home, I found out it didn’t, but then a week later, I got the call: “Would you be interested in Criminal Minds?” Adam elaborated.
After the birth of their second child, Adam gushed to ET about their new bundle of joy on the red carpet of the 43rd People’s Choice Awards on January 18, 2017. “The second baby is alive and well! So far, so good. It’s been really great,” he said. “We lucked out. My daughter is loving being a big sister and couldn’t be more affectionate.”
Adam’s time as Eric Delko on “CSI: Miami” earned him an ALMA Award in 2011, while some might also remember the actor for his role in the movie, “Magic Mike XXL” opposite Channing Tatum.
With 54 acting credits in a career that started in 1997 with “NYPD Blue,” he made appearances in productions that include “All Souls,” “Roswell High,” “Ugly Betty,” “Reckless,” and most recently announced in 2019, “Penny Dreadful: City of Angels.”
Adam’s time on “Criminal Minds” came to an end after the show announced their fifteenth and final season set to air in the Fall of 2019.
As fans get ready for the last season of their favorite show, they can expect surprise visits from old cast members and tearjerking, nailbiting situations befitting the crime drama’s final bow from television.
