Chrissy Teigen, John Legend Fire Back at President Trump's Twitter Attack after MSNBC Special

Chrissy Teigen and John Legend are non-supporters of the current President, and they don't shy away from reminding the world of that fact.

If Chrissy Teigen and husband John Legend are known for anything, it would be for their complete disregard and dislike of U.S President Donald Trump. And it appears that isn't going to change any time soon as there's another 'battle' brewing in their camp.

As revealed by CNN, it all began when Trump took to his Twitter account to slam Legend and his wife. The 45th President of the States sounded embittered as he tweeted:

"Guys like boring musician @johnlegend, and his filthy-mouthed wife, are talking now about how great it is - but I didn't see them around when we needed help getting it passed. "Anchor" @LesterHoltNBC doesn't even bring up the subject of President Trump or the Republicans when talking about the importance or passage of Criminal Justice Reform."

As expected, Legend and his wife fired back at the President. While Legend kept it classy by asking the President's wife, Melania Trump, to "praise" her husband, his wife Teigen went rogue.

The mother-of-two tweeted a picture of her writing on a board with the caption:

"Luna, remember the night before your first day of school? When mommy was making your sign and the [expletive] president had his 9th meltdown of the day."

Teigen was certainly not having it as she went on:

"The absolute best part of his tweet is I literally didn't speak in the special, nor was I mentioned. I'm cackling at the pointless addition of me because he cannot not be a [expletive]."

PEOPLE reports that Trump was triggered after he saw Legend on a Sunday night special which aired on MSNBC. The special which was about a town hall about Criminal Justice Reform was hosted by NBC Nightly News anchor Lester Holt.

It doesn't help that the 73-year-old President believes that he and other Republicans should be getting more credit for signing the First Step Act into law.

The Act is targetted at reforming the federal prison system of the United States. The Act also seeks to reduce a convicted criminal’s desire to re-commit an offense

But Trump is alone on this one as his former communications director, Anthony Scaramucci, replied his attack against Legend with:

"Despicable human being. A bully and a baby. He goes after citizens and their wives on his presidential twitter feed. He thinks he is going to bully his way back in next time but it's a tired script and we are on to him and banding together."
