In an Instagram post dedicated to Rebecca, David and Priscilla wrote,
"With heavy hearts, we received a phone call… that David's younger sister, Rebecca, went home to heaven."
The tribute continued,
"The 22 years God gave us with her seems so short, but in the light of eternity, all of our lives are short. The most important thing is a relationship with Jesus Christ that Rebecca evidenced by the fruit of her life."
The couple added that the deceased,
"Is in heaven today, not because she was a good person but because she trusted in the Lord Jesus as her personal Savior."
The caption also revealed Rebecca died when another vehicle hit her car, and she is now, "In the presence of the Lord." On David and Rebecca's website, they described the deceased as someone full of life; who filled every day with meaningful activities.
The deceased worked at UPS until her death, and the website noted that Rebecca's colleagues saw her as someone with an excellent work ethic, a can-do attitude, and she exuded kindness to those around her.
Rebecca is one more person in the list of people, Anna, has lost this year. In June, the "Counting On," star lost her husband, Joshua Duggar's, grandmother. That same month, she honored the late Duggar matriarch who died after an accidental drowning in an Instagram post.
After revealing that the sixth baby she is expecting, with her husband is a girl, Anna took a trip down memory lane, informing her fans that grandma Duggar introduced her to using gender-reveal cakes.
The reality star and her family have had a lot of sad news this year, but with a baby on the way, they'll have a lot to celebrate soon.
