Prince Charles stripped off Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie's 24-hour security years ago, despite their father, Prince Andrew's disapproval. The sisters, who are not working royals, do not get paid from the Firm's payroll and have their careers to support their families.

Prince Andrew believes that his daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, were overshadowed by Prince Charles' son and daughters-in-law.

According to an insider, Andrew feared that the situation would worsen as Prince George and Princess Charlotte aged, and even more if the Queen dies.

Although royals, Beatrice and Eugenie are not active in public services and duties. Considering how they chose to live their lives, the sisters were stripped of 24-hour bodyguard service in 2011, which amounted to over $600,000 per year in expenses.

Prince Andrew fought hard to keep his children's protection, claiming that they should be treated differently from younger royals because of their HRH status. However, with the girls pursuing their own career paths and starting their own families, Charles believes the Royal Family should be more cost-effective.

The princesses did not lighten the situation when they were spotted leaving London's most expensive nightclubs in their younger years.

Andrew previously hoped that his girls would continue his legacy as a trade ambassador, but they chose to pursue their own paths instead.

BEATRICE AND EUGENIE'S CLOSE BOND

Unlike Beatrice and Eugenie, Prince William and Prince Harry could not maintain their close relationship until adulthood. Initially, they had a solid bond and were each other's support system, but everything changed following Harry's marriage to Megan Markle.

Months later, Brooksbank became the subject of criticism after being spotted on a yacht with three bikini-clad models, which he said was for work purposes.

According to royal biographer Robert Lacey, their rift began years ago when Harry infamously dressed as a Nazi for a party. The incident created a conflict between the two as Harry was criticized. "William is the King of the castle, and he's the dirty rascal," Lacey said.

Meanwhile, Beatrice and Eugenie shared an incredibly close bond growing up, which lasted until adulthood. Despite studying in different boarding schools and universities, the sisters had several common interests that brought them together. Eugenie said:

“We're each other's rocks. We're the only other person in each other's lives who can know exactly what the other one is going through.”

Of course, the siblings also had their fair share of arguments, including a fight over a pair of Converse sneakers. "We have the same size feet, and both of us had identical pairs," Beatrice shared. "One pair got trashed, and the other sister may have swapped them."

But at the end of the day, Eugenie and Beatrice made it a point to make amends. Eugenie also has a close relationship with her cousin, Harry, that dates back to their childhood. Since both of their moms, Princess Diana and Sarah Ferguson, were good friends, the kids naturally spent time together.

Come their older years; the cousins would spend nights out in London's club scene and became each other's confidantes.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl explained that she and her husband, Jack, are among the few in their family who still have close contact with Harry and Markle following their move to the US.

PRINCE CHARLES EXCLUDES EUGENIE AND BEATRICE

Prince Charles still excluded the "blood Princesses" from funding despite their status. "When Charles ascends to the throne [...], he'd like the Royal Family to be streamlined: he wants a smaller, more cost-effective monarchy," Royal commentator Robert Jobson said.

However, his brother, Andrew, wants to secure his children's future and make them fully paid members of the Firm because of their statuses. "But if Charles has his way, the girls will be thrown off the royal payroll and have to fend for themselves," Jobson added.

The decision came after Eugenie and Beatrice chose not to become working royals following their graduation from university. As such, she did not receive Sovereign Grant funds.

Charles also did not want to make the princesses prominent members of the Royal Family. The issue has since strained Andrew and Charles' relationship, leaving the former outraged that their generation's only two "blood princesses'' have been swept to the side.

Andrew asked his mother to intervene for her grandchildren, who share a close relationship with the Monarch, but was not given the response he wanted. Despite Andrew wanting his children to be working royals, they refused.

Both sisters have since taken independent career paths and are thriving in their line of work while making a living for their families.

BEATRICE AND EUGENIE'S INDEPENDENT LIVES

As Beatrice secured a history degree from Goldsmiths University, she worked different jobs, including a sales assistant in Selfridges and an intern at Sony Pictures. However, she ended up with a top position as vice president of partnerships and strategy at Afiniti, an American software company.

She is also a loving wife and mother. On July 17, 2020, the Princess married Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, a businessman who founded the real estate firm Banda in 2007. Like Beatrice, he has a high position as CEO and generates more than enough money for their family.

On September 18, 2021, the couple welcomed their firstborn at London's Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. Their daughter is the second child of Mozzi, who had a son from a previous relationship.

Her sister, Eugenie, also found success in her career path. After obtaining an English literature and history degree of art at the University of Newcastle, she moved to New York to work for Paddle8, an auction firm.

She later returned to London and worked as an associate director at Hauser and Wirth art gallery. Eugenie is also a proud wife and mother of one.

Eugenie married Jack Brooksbank in 2018 after dating for seven years. "We have the same passions and drive for life," Eugenie said in an interview, as reported by Town and Country.

Brooksbank works as the European Manager for Casamigos Tequila, which his mother-in-law absolutely loves. On February 9, 2021, the pair became parents to a son, born at The Portland Hospital.

Months later, Brooksbank became the subject of criticism after being spotted on a yacht with three bikini-clad models, which he said was for work purposes. Photographs of the trip circulated online, including one that had Brooksbank's arm around ex-model Erica Pelosini's waist.

Following the controversy, Sarah Ferguson defended her son-in-law from accusations about the images. According to Ferguson, Brooksbank was a man of integrity who she considered a hero. She also highlighted that he was present there for work.
