The trick is to pour 1/4 cup of baking soda and the same amount of table salt in a bowl. After being mixed, pour the concoction straight into the sink. After that, pour 1/2 cup of vinegar in the sink. Rinse with hot water after at least half an hour.

2. Removing bad odor from shoes

Shoes will start to smell bad over time. Salt can help eliminate the stink from shoes. Sprinkle some salt on your shoes and let it sit for at least a night. Adding baking soda also helps.

Aside from absorbing the smell, salt also serves to deter bugs from nesting in your shoes.
