Main suspect in Whitney Houston's daughter's death was arrested

The suspect's latest arrest brought back painful memories of the Brown's death.

As reported in an article published by Faith Family America, Nick Gordon was taken into police custody in Seminole, Florida, last weekend for domestic violence.

Gordon was the prime suspect and was under an open investigation since 2015 after the death of late iconic singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown's daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, at the age of 22.

Gordon and Brown were in a relationship when Brown was found unresponsive and face down in her bathtub at her Alpharetta, Georgia, residence on January 31, 2015.

She was immediately transported to the Norton Fulton Hospital in Roswell. She remained in a coma for almost six months. She was declared dead on July 26, 2015.

Many months later, the autopsy reports suggested that main reason that led to Brown's death was drug intoxication and drowning. It was not clear if the death was accidental or intentional.

Gordon was under constant observation and interrogation after Brown's untimely death. Gordon faced allegations of frequently physically abusing Brown. Brown's estate had filed a wrongful death lawsuit against him.

Gordon was accused of beating Brown up after a cocaine and drinking binge and sedating her with a fatal cocktail that caused her to pass out. Although the case was inconclusive, the investigation on Gordon was never closed.

In 2017, Gordon was arrested on domestic violence charges against his new girlfriend. The charges were dropped after his girlfriend stopped cooperating,

This time, Gordon has been arrested for battery against his current girlfriend. As reported by TMZ, his girlfriend picked him at the bar when Gordon was drunk.

On their way, Gordon, who was inebriated, punched her in the face several times bruising her face and resulting in cuts on her lips, as reported by Daily Mail.

She claimed that Gordon also pulled her hair to convince her to crash the car. On the other hand, Gordon told a story that did not match with his girlfriend's testimony.

Gordon claimed that his girlfriend was acting crazy and threw a bottle at him and ripped his shirt. The cop who had arrived at the location found Gordon's girlfriend's story more believable and arrested Gordon for domestic abuse.
