'Counting On' star Michelle Duggar is severely criticized for alleged abuse after sharing a new video
AmoMama brings you juicy details of a short clip that showed Michelle Duggar scolding 10-year-old Jennifer Duggar. As Pop Culture reports, the fans are not amused.
Michelle Duggar was caught unawares scolding 10-year-old Jennifer Duggar in a video clip that went viral and the fans were not amused. On the clip that has since been removed from the family’s Instagram page, Michelle is scolding Jennifer but she changes her behavior as soon as she notices her son-in-law Derick Dillard taking a video that will broadcast to fans of the family.
Naturally, fans went on Reddit to criticize the matriarch and her parenting with some calling it abuse. One said: "Jenni's body language is also very telling. While Michelle is berating her, you can see Jenni turning her body away from Michelle, and she looks extremely tense. That's exactly how I behaved whenever I felt attacked by my parents. It's a defensive pose. I might be reading too much into this but I see a lot of myself in Jenni and I'm 100 percent convinced that Michelle is verbally and emotionally abusive behind closed doors."
This harsh criticism comes weeks after the family ‘shunned’ daughter Jinger Vuolo for rebelling against her parents. The mother-to-be insists on wearing pants and high heels that the family has banned. She and her husband Jeremy are expecting their first child in a few months.
The couple told Us Weekly that they were excited as they waited for their baby to arrive.
"The past 14 months have been the best of our lives as we have had the wonderful privilege of beginning our journey through life together in marriage. We both looked forward to the joys of marriage but neither one of us fully understood just how amazing the start of this journey would be. Truly, the Lord’s mercies are new every morning! Now, the journey has taken an exciting turn: We are expecting our first child!"
