Model Kaia Gerber couldn’t have had a more perfect party partner at Coachella than her own mother, once a supermodel herself, Cindy Crawford.

The two couldn’t have looked more identical too. Cindy shared a snap of the time together they spent together. AmoMama collected details from Daily Mail.

The mother is a very supportive presence in her daughter’s life as she headed to the desert festival on Saturday. The duo posed for a selfie and Cindy wrote on the caption, “Desert Girls.”

The photo showed 16-year-old Kaia and her mom with Kaia’s friend, Charlotte Lawrence, also a model and an aspiring singer. Just like Kaia, Charlotte also has famous parents. Her father is Scrubs creator Bill Lawrence and her mom is actress Christa Miller.

It’s amazing at how Cindy gets to bond with the girls and is able to watch over them at the same time. The 52-year-old has taken a close interest in her daughter’s career and said that she felt some regrets over her own youthful start.

She disclosed that she is a bit disappointed over some scantily-clad photos she posed for that she hadn’t decided to do by herself.

“Look, I've done nude photos, lots. The only ones I regretted were the ones that I kind of got talked into.I don't want my children to ever look back and think, ‘Gosh, I wish I hadn't done that.’ I want to empower them to just say, "I'm outta here."'

Cindy has promised that she will “come after” anyone who messes with her children. She also said that she has always made sure to instill moral values in her two kids and has encouraged them to spend time together as a family especially during their younger years.

The Fair Game star revealed that it is not actually that hard to instill those values.

“Kids don’t always listen, but they are always watching what you do. If you’re polite to people, they learn to be polite. If you make family time a priority, they don’t even question spending time together. You lead by example.”
