Mental health of Sandra Bullock's daughter threatened because of mom

The star child was traumatized owing to a seemingly common phenomenon.

Sandra Bullock’s recent interview with In Style magazine was a sneak peek into the life of the award-winning actress beyond all the glitz and glamor.

Bullock, who played the lead role in the latest movie from the Ocean’s series, Ocean’s 8, spoke about the experience of working on the film, her personal life, the Time’s Up movement and more.

However, the most insightful part of the interview was when the Hollywood icon began to talk about her children, Louis and Laila

Bullock revealed that her 5-year-old daughter Laila had been suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), as reported by Hello Magazine.

Speaking about the condition, the actress shared that it all began when the paparazzi became obsessed with getting a picture of the little girl.

Recalling the series of events, Bullock shared that although she had kept the fostering of Laila a tight secret to protect her privacy, the media got a sense of it when Laila had to be taken to the hospital following an allergy outburst.

The fact that Bullock had adopted a second child secretively became hot news and photographers from different media channels began stalking little Laila to capture a few clicks.

To Bullock, this invasion of privacy was nothing short of a heartbreak.

She also shared how Laila’s brother Louis, who was adopted from Louisiana when he was merely three months old, was extremely protective of his sister.

Every time Louis would hear the faint noise of a drone or a helicopter, he would rush to Laila, walk her hurriedly across the lawn and hide with her under the trampoline.

However, after a group of influential Hollywood stars came together and had celebrity stalking made legally restricted, Laila has been worrying less about being chased for a few photographs.

Speaking about the nature of her children, Bullock quipped that Louis was sensitive, kind and wise like an old man. Laila, on the other hand, was a fearless girl who her mother believes will grow up to be an instrument of change.
