Remember Gordon in 'Sesame Street'? His real son played his kid on the show & has own family now

If you grew up in between the 70s and 90s, you probably remember Gordon and Susan, the happily married couple and central human figures in “Sesame Street.” After a decade on the show, the fictional couple introduced their adopted son, a little boy named Miles that was actually Gordon’s son in real life.

Celebritist learned that Roscoe Orman, the man that gave life to Gordon from 1974 to 2016, is also a father in real life, as he shares four kids with estranged wife Sharon Joiner. Their eldest, Miles Orman, made his debut on television when he was only 1-year-old, as he was introduced in “Sesame Street” like Gordon’s and Susan’s adopted son.

Now, Miles is a handsome 33-years-old and has a family of his own. The days of drooling on camera and learning how to read are long forgotten for Miles, who was part of the show until he was eight-years-old and didn’t appear on camera never again, dropping his acting career before it actually started.

He’s now happily married to a beautiful woman named Jasaline, and they have a 7-years-old daughter and a 2-years-old son.

Miles attended Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York, and he played on their basketball team, the Red Foxes, from 2003 to 2007. The man is still dedicated to keeping his built up body in shape, and his Instagram is a mix of photos from his family, his healthy meals, and gym selfies.

While it may seem like Miles’ life is the best it can be, he recently revealed that not everything is what seems. He confessed publicly that he doesn’t have a good relationship with his mother after his parents’ separation in 2010.

Sharing a throwback photo from his childhood where his mother was carrying him as a baby, Miles took the chance to reflect on the current state of their relationship as he wrote in his caption:

“Looking through my pics I found one of my favorites of me and my mom. It made me sad…we haven't spoken in quite some time. Throughout my life, our relationship has been pretty tough to navigate. It has actually helped me in a lot of ways in learning to understand people's psychology and how we need to empathize more than criticize... but to this day and I'm sure for the rest of my life it will be one of the more challenging relationships for me to work through. #tbt #family #lifelessons”

Despite his struggles on his relationship with his mom, Miles seems to be determined to not repeat his parents’ mistakes. He’s constantly expressing his love and respect for his wife of seven years through several heartfelt posts to his social media.

For their last anniversary, Miles shared a photo with the mother of his kids from the time they met back in college, and he wrote in the caption:

“I told @jzorman from the jump I had her. Fast forward to 7 years of marriage and a beautiful family, I'm proud #HappyAnniversary #HurricaneSeason #JeansWithHoles”

We’re glad to know that Miles is doing well and has such a beautiful family. Is good to see that the little kid that once stole the hearts of the nation on “Sesame Street” has grown up to become a righteous husband and father.

Did you recognize Miles Orman as the kid from “Sesame Street”?
