Johnny Brown was active in Hollywood for over fifty decades, but he’s better known for one of his first roles as “Bookman” in the series “Good Times.” The actor’s eldest daughter is also a known actress, and she’s now happily married to the son of another famous star.

Sharon Brown is a stage actress and fitness instructor. She has worked on in and off-Broadway productions like “Dreamgirls,” “Maggie Flynn,” “The Wiz,” “Rent” and “Jekyll & Hyde.” She also has credits in films like “A Chorus Line,” “For Keeps,” “Sister Act 2,” “What's Love Got to Do with It,” and series like “The Jeffersons,” “Good Times,” “A Different World” and “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.”

She’s now 56-years-old and keeps on working on theater, but she’s also a dedicated mother and wife. Sharon has been married for quite some time to Billy Blanks Jr., the son of fitness guru and creator of the ‘Tae-Bo‘ brand, Billy Blanks.

Even though they faced some struggles starting their marriage, the couple has come far in life with Billy staring his own fitness program and Sharon establishing her place in the theater industry as one of the most sought-after actresses.

They have a 14-years-old adopted son named Elijah that is already following their steps, both in the fitness and the acting industry. The boy recently headlined his first school musical as Shrek, and his parents couldn’t be more proud of the handsome boy’s talent.

Blanks recently accepted a position as the Artistic Director at Norwalk's Wall Street Theater in Greenwich, and he revealed that he’s most excited about working with young actors in the Teen Theater Program. They recently presented their first performance, an adaption of “Fame,” a play that holds a special place at Billy’s heart.

The couple keeps on working separately on their own endeavors but always come back to each other and their teenage son. They make a beautiful couple and we’re glad to know they’re still going strong.
