Vanessa Paradis ties the knot with film director in small private ceremony
Vanessa Paradis, Johnny Depp's ex-wife, has finally remarried and, this time, the lucky man was Samuel Benchetrit.
45-year-old Paradis married Benchetrit last Saturday, June 30, 2018, in a small schoolhouse town hall in Saint-Simeon, France, a village located an hour away from Paris.
The news of the wedding was reported by the Le Parisien, a French newspaper, which shared some photos of the private ceremony that celebrated the union of the actress and the film director.
The wedding was attended by a selected group of friends and family, including Paradis' children: 19-year-old Lily-Rose and 16-year-old Jack, who she shares with Depp.

Paradis walked down the aisle wearing a lacy cream-colored dress, as well as a carefully embroidered veil. Her hair tresses were decorated with flowers and she held onto a bouquet of pink roses throughout the ceremony.
According to People, an unidentified source claimed that the couple became engaged in November 2017, right after working side by side on Chien, a film that was screened at the Cannes Festival in May.
Paradis and Benchetrit scouted several locations before choosing Saint-Simeon. The tiny village has a population of around 800, which made it perfect for a discreet wedding.
But that wasn't the only reason. Paradis' father, André, who passed away last year, was the proud owner of a small restaurant in the village, and the actress owns a country estate very close to the commune.
Paradis might not be very famous in the United States, but she is considered a superstar in France, having rocketed to stardom thanks to her single Joe le Taxi when she was a 14-year-old pop star.
Depp, with whom she was married for 14 years, is currently focused on the music industry, going on tour across Europe with Alice Cooper and Joe Perry; together, they are known as Hollywood Vampires.
