Queen Elizabeth's Granddaughter Zara Tindall Falls off Horse at Burghley Horse Trials

While the Queen was attending the Braemar Gathering at The Princess Anne and Duke of Fife Memorial Park in Scotland, The Princess Royal was miles away from the event rooting for her daughter, Zara.

Zara was competing in the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire, and she had the support of her family throughout the event.

Her mother, Princess Anne, Timothy Laurence, Anne's husband, her husband, Mike, and her daughters Mia and Lena were all cheering for her from the sides.

ZARA HAD A FALL DURING THE EVENT

Zara was riding her horse, Class Affair, when she slipped from the animal and landed on her side.

Luckily for Zara, she was wearing an air vest which inflated when the tether detached and saved her from any injuries. She was able to walk away from the accident unharmed.

Though the fall was harmless, it might be a drawback for her considering that she gave birth two months ago.

ZARA RESUMED RIDING TWO MONTHS AFTER SHE GAVE BIRTH

The 2012 Olympic medalist returned to the riding scene after a mere two months of giving birth to her second daughter, Lena.

The mother of two appeared on an interview for, her sponsor, Land Rover and talked about her return. "The first time around, my body was in so much shock," she said. She added that coming back felt good.

RETURNING TO RIDING FEELS GOOD

The 38-year-old said that her return "feels good, actually." She added that she has her eyes set on a big target. "I'd love to try and get back on the team," she said. "I'd love to go to another Olympics."

The equestrian won a silver medal in the 2012 London Olympics for the team competition. Her mother, Princess Anne, presented her with the award making for a special moment.

Princess Anne competed in the 1976 games. Previously, Princess Anne also talked about how she's not the 'Fairytale' princess people have in mind.

BEING IN THE OLYMPICS IS INCREDIBLE

After a long break from the competitive sport, Zara will have to work hard to get back on the team if has her eyes set on the next Olympics.

When talking about her experience of the 2012 Olympics, she said:

"To be in London, the crowd, the whole Olympic experience, I can't tell you, it gives me goose bumps talking about it. It is incredible."

She still has a long way to go after the delivery. She said that her core muscles are yet to return to their original place and it's a natural process, and there's no shortcut. The mother ot two might earn the gold this time around.
