The 54-year-old took to his official Instagram account on Wednesday, September, to let his millions of fans know how he is doing and how he is coping with the virus.

According to Rogan, he was feeling "very weary," had a headache, and felt, overall, run down. To be cautious, he decided to quarantine and sleep in a different part of the house, away from his family.

A ROUGH NIGHT

The comedian then explained that the first night, on Sunday, was the worst as he had a fever and cold sweats and was fully aware of what was going on.

Gene Simmons, lead singer of Kiss, also tested positive for the virus.

The next morning, Rogan got himself tested and decided to throw "the kitchen sink at it" by taking all kinds of medication, such as "monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-Pak, prednisone" and several drips.

A NEW DATE

As aforementioned, Rogan was supposed to be in Nashville for a live show next Friday, September 3, but that show has already been rescheduled to Sunday, October 24.

The podcaster ended the video with an apology to his fans, claiming that it wasn't anything that he could control and that "it is what it is," describing the present as "crazy times we're living in."

CONTROVERSIAL COMMENTS

Rogan, who has questioned the necessity of the COVID vaccine on his show and suggested that young people should not get vaccinated, thanked modern medicine for helping him fight the virus.

Just one day before Rogan's announcement that he had contracted COVID, Gene Simmons, lead singer of Kiss, also tested positive for the virus, forcing the band to postpone several tour shows.

It has been reported that the legendary rocker is experiencing "mild" symptoms and that he got infected just a few days after bandmate Paul Stanley, who has already made a successful recovery.
