Country star Luke Bryan melted fans' hearts after a video of him coming to the rescue of a single mother with two toddlers went viral. Bryan has been lauded for his continuous act of kindness, which is one of many.

In October 2021, Taste of Country reported that country singer, Luke Bryan, provided roadside assistance to a woman named Courtney Potts, who was stuck on the road with a flat tire with her two young children when he pulled up alongside her.

Potts posted a clip of the Hollywood star on Instagram, which showed him on his knees while working on a tire iron. The mother of two told the outlet that her son was fast asleep while her daughter became restless during the ordeal.

Potts was stranded on a dangerous curve near Columbia, Tennesse, where she resides and where Bryan has hunting land. Her driver's side front tire blew, and she had to limp the vehicle to the shoulder.

Potts spotted a gray truck pulling up ahead of her before it started to reverse. That was when the songwriter stepped out of the vehicle.

In reaction to seeing him, Potts divulged she had to do "a double take" upon hearing his voice. At that point, she was not even shocked because of the first thing he said to her.

"I got out and did a double take as soon as I heard his voice. I didn't even have time to be in shock because he's like, 'Look, we need to get you out of this road because I almost hit you.'"

Bryan, who had his two sons in the car, advised Potts to follow him up the road, which was a short distance because he nearly crashed into her vehicle while coming around the curve. He helped her look for a spare tire in her fully occupied truck.

When the Georgia native noticed that the single mom's tire jack was not helpful, he used his. "He just got down on the ground and started changing the tire," Potts recalled.

Bryan's intervention only took 30 minutes, and afterward, he happily posed for a photo with the Tennessee native, who is an even bigger fan of him now than before:

"He's just a humble guy. I told my mom he went into dad mode almost. He was seriously worried about me fixing the tire on this car!"

Once fans learned about Bryan's good deed, they flooded Potts' social media account to commend him for stepping in and lending a helping hand to an ordinary citizen.

An Instagram user applauded him, stating that it was a blessing that he was at the right place at the right time to ensure that Potts and her brood got help.

The said individual noted that the superstar is a rare breed and that it was evident that he was raised well by good parents while wishing Bryan well along with his family.

A third said the "Country Girl" singer "has a heart of gold" and is "always willing to help others," adding it was "one of the reasons" why people love him so much.

Notably, it was no surprise that Bryan helped a woman with two kids because this was not his first time assisting people.

Bryan Adopted His Nieces & Nephew

The "American Idol" did the most selfless thing when he and his wife, Caroline Boyer, decided to raise his late sister Kelly and brother-in-law Ben Cheshire's kids after they died.

Bryan got candid about dealing with tragedy in his life during an interview with ABC News in November 2017, Per People. His brother, Chris, was fatally killed in a car accident in 2000, followed by the sudden death of his sister Kelly seven years later.

Kelly's widower Cheshire's death in 2014 was the one that changed Bryan's life forever. He and Boyer adopted the couple's three children: daughters Jordan and Kris and son Til.

Boyer revealed that the decision she and her award-winning husband took was a natural one because they never had to ponder about it:

"We never thought twice about it. You know, it was never something that he and I had to sit down and talk about. 'Should we take this on?' We just did that."

Boyer and Bryan are college sweethearts. Per Us Magazine, the lovebirds met in the fall of 1998 at Georgia Southern University when she was a freshman, and he was a senior.

During Boyer's appearance on the "Get Real with Caroline Hobby" podcast in January 2019, she revealed they first crossed paths during her "first week of college at a bar called Dingus, and we were just hanging out."

The meeting occurred on a Thursday night, and it was her first time in a bar. Boyer recalled being reserved because she was raised in a small town and had had the same boyfriend since 8th grade.

She admitted Bryan's personality intimidated her and could not believe he had made a move on her. "He was the second guy I ever kissed in my life. Ever."

Meanwhile, Bryan said he also felt browbeaten by his future wife before he approached her and had to drink a lot before doing that, adding he knew she was the one - and that she would be his pillar of strength:

"She's the perfect stability that I need on all levels."

The couple walked down the aisle in December 2006 in Turks & Caicos. They welcomed their first child, son Thomas "Bo," two years later in March 2008.

Their second son, Tatum "Tate," arrived in August 2010. In November 2014, Bryan and Boyer took in his nieces and nephew, who were teens then.

Bryan Says Adopting His Nephew & Nieces Changed His Life

According to Bryan, it was a big adjustment going from raising two kids to having Til come and live with him and his family in Nashville:

"We're buddies now, though, kind of."

The father of five said things happened fast regarding welcoming Til into their home, adding him being a teenager was a challenge, especially when giving him parental advice.

Bryan explained that even though he wanted to be in parent mode when Til got into trouble, he also "wanted to be a friend to him too."

Nonetheless, having a blended family was a positive experience for the country crooner who said having Til in their life home was a "blast."

He noted that at the same time, he had to be a strict parent, having to monitor Til's social media accounts while also ensuring that he was doing well at school.

Bryan's primary goal in raising his nephew as a teen was ensuring he provided him with proper guidance, studied hard, was respectful, and did his best to raise him right.

When reflecting on his role as a father of five, Bryan expressed the experience was far greater than anything he could accomplish in his music career.

He noted that though his nephew and nieces had a good life when their parents were still alive, even after losing their mom, his focus was to help them in whatever way he could.

The "I See You" singer told Billboard in 2015 that it was an honor to care for his nieces and nephew, which he and his wife felt was the right thing to do.
