Did Rush Limbaugh Have Children?

The controversial conservative host of "The Rush Limbaugh Show" made countless utterances that caused outrage or confusion. In a frequently cited Boston Magazine profile, the serial groom said:

"Marriage is about raising children. That's the purpose of the institution."

Despite these strong feelings about the institution of marriage, he did not fulfill this "purpose.” The childless hots is known for his mean-spirited statements about the daughters of Democrat presidents, Amy Carter in 1988 and a young Chelsea Clinton, during her father Bill's first term.

How Rush Limbaugh Died

Limbaugh announced his lung cancer diagnosis in February 2020. In October of that year, he said that though his scans were "not dramatic," the prognosis was still not good. His wife, Kathryn Adams Limbaugh, broke the news by reading a statement on live radio on February 17, 2021.

The New York Post estimates the host's earnings at $33 million a year, with a net worth of over $660 million at the time of his death in 2021.

She thanked loyal listening for praying for her husband during his year-long illness and declared there would be a "tremendous void in our lives, and on the radio" from that day.

Kathryn Adams Was Rush Limbaugh's Fourth Wife

Kathryn is the author of the New York Times bestselling children's series, Adventures of Rush Revere. She met her future husband and then married his third wife in 2004 at a charity golf tournament she headed.

Not held back by their 26-year age gap, the couple married in Palm Beach, Florida, and reportedly paid Sir Elton John to serenade them at the reception.

She claims to be directly decadent of American Founding Father John Adams. The author seems to support her late husband's views and told Ainsley Earhardt on Fox News, "He would be upset with the United States not being as strong as it has been and should be."

The Exes

Limbaugh met his first wife, Roxy Maxine McNeely, at a Kansas City radio station they both worked. The young couple married in 1977. She cited "incompatibility" when filing for divorce three years later in 1980. She was the editor-in-chief and publisher of a youth magazine, Vent.

He spent most of the eighties married to Michelle Sixta between 1983 and 1990. Sixta was a graphic art student and usher at the Kansas City Royals Stadium Club. The couple moved to New York City in 1998 for his career. Sixta remarried in 1991 and pursued a graphic design career.

He married Jacksonville aerobics instructor Marta Fitzgerald in 1994. Shortly after they divorced in 2004, Palm Beach Post reported him saying that he was too much in love with himself.
