Tyler James Williams is not the only star in his family. He is the older of three brothers, and audiences have seen all three on film and TV. The older of the Williams boys is Tyler, and it was he who first became a famous actor.

His younger brothers are Tyrel Jackson Williams and Tylen Jacob Williams. Yes, they all have the same initials and are handsome and outrageously talented. Tyler James Williams's brothers have forged their path in entertainment, not only in film but also in music.

In the Williams family, talent is in the genes. Tyler James Williams was the first to start acting. Born in 1992, he had his breakthrough role at 11, playing the role of the young Chris Rock on the sitcom "Everybody Hates Chris."

His brother Tyrel Jackson Williams was born in 1997, and Tylen Jacob Williams, the baby of the family, was born in 2001. The Williams boys even worked together when Tyrel and Tylen guested on "Everybody Hates Chris."

Tyrel's latest film is the 2022 teen romantic comedy "Hollywood Stargirl," in which he plays an ambitious young filmmaker making his first movie.

The Williams boys have much more in common than talent, charm, and success. They are friends and brothers and are always there to support each other through their darkest hours.

Tyler James Williams and His Brothers Always Had Their Parents' Support

Behind the William brother's success is the unconditional love and support they received from their proud parents, Angela and Le'Roy Williams. Le'Roy was an NYPD officer, and Angela a gospel singer, and they encouraged their sons to follow their dreams.

Angela had auditioned for a few commercials as a child and hated it, but when her boys fell in love with acting, she did all she could to help them make it, including taking them to auditions and shoots.

After helping her three kids make it in showbiz, Angela even wrote a book: " My Child is Going to Be Rich and Famous: How to Successfully Balance Family, Parenting, and Entertainment."

Tyrel Jackson Williams Achieved Success as an Actor and Musician

The middle Williams boy, Tyrel, started working in 2005 in "Everybody Hates Chris," playing the baby and toddler Chris. From there, he went on to co-star in "Failure to Launch" with Matthew McConaughey and Sarah Jessica Parker.

He guested on several TV shows before landing main roles in the comedy series "Lab Rats" and the sitcom "Brockmire." More recently, Tyrel co-starred in the 2021 superhero film with Melissa McCarthy and Academy Award winner Octavia Spencer.

Tyrel's latest film is the 2022 teen romantic comedy "Hollywood Stargirl," in which he plays an ambitious young filmmaker making his first movie. Scenes became confusing, Tyrel explained:

"So there would be times where we would have to say, 'Okay, wait. Are we yelling 'Action!' for the movie? Are there going to be two?"

On top of his busy acting career, Tyrel is also a member of a music group, Grouptherapy. Tyrel formed the group with longtime friends and fellow child actors Jadagrace Michiko Gordy-Nash and Coy Stewart, and they started writing and making music together during quarantine.

Their music is spontaneous and defies cultural boundaries and genres -- a complete departure from the more usual studio-crafted and polished music being produced today. Tyrel admitted being inspired by the raw garage-created music of the 80s when creating Grouptherapy.

Tylen Jacob Williams Now Performs under a Pseudonym

Tylen Jacob Williams is the youngest Williams boy, and like his brother Tyrel, he had his debut on "Everybody Hates Chris." He guested on several TV shows like "Without a Trace," "Parks and Recreation," and "Teens Wanna Know."

In 2013 he landed a leading role in the sitcom "Instant Mom," co-starring with Tia Mowry. Since then, Tylen has been trying his hand as a producer and making music under the pseudonym Domino Williams. In September 2022, he performed with fellow musician Nate Kest at the Peppermint Club in West Hollywood.

In 2017, Tyler collapsed and was diagnosed with Crohn's disease, an inflammatory condition of the bowels that threatened his life. After an operation, sepsis set in, and Tyler came close to death. He recovered and transformed his diet and his lifestyle. He explained:

“I had to learn how to stop making a dramatic change happen really quickly and learn how to have a better relationship with my body.”

Then, in 2020, his brother Tyrel was diagnosed with the same condition. Tyler invited his younger brother Tylen to move in with him so they could care for their health together. So far, Tylen is healthy, and the three Williams brothers are caring for each other.
