Amber Rose gave birth to son Sebastian Taylor Thomaz, whom she shares with ex-husband rapper Wiz Khalifa on February 21, 2013, and in 2019, she welcomed her second child, Slash Electric Alexander Edwards.

Born on October 13, Slash is the son of Amber Rose's ex-boyfriend, producer Alexander Edwards. Ten days after Slash's birth, Amber Rose shared sweet snaps of her new baby with his grandparents.

In the Instagram post, since deleted, Dorothy and Michael were shown tenderly cradling the tiny baby in their arms. Amber Rose captioned the post:

Dorothy has proved to be protective of her daughter. In 2015, Amber Rose broke up with her long-time boyfriend, singer Kanye West, who left her for Kim Kardashian.

At that time, West gave an interview in which he commented that he had taken "30 showers" after leaving Rose and before moving in with Kardashian. At the 2015 SlutWalk, Dorothy lashed back by holding a placard that read:

"[expletive] yo 30 showers!”

Amber and Her Mom Were Not on Good Terms Recently

Unfortunately, it seems that Amber Rose's relationship with Dorothy has deteriorated. In 2021, Amber Rose broke up with Alexander Edwards and accused him of cheating.

At the same time, Rose posted a bitter rant against Dorothy on Instagram Stories, accusing her of being a narcissist. Amber Rose wrote:

"I'm tired of being mentally and emotionally abused by people that I love. I've been suffering in silence for a long time, and I can’t take it anymore. (...) I refuse to let anyone damage me anymore. Family or not."

Since then, the model hasn't spoken of her mother or announced a reconciliation, and the status of their relationship as of early 2023 is unknown.
