Police dog has priceless reaction when he reunites with cop after being shot (video)
Bruno, a K9 German Shepard, finally reunited with his police partner, Officer RJ Young, after bravely surviving surgery due to a gunshot fired in the face while running after a suspect.
ABC News reported on March 28, 2014, that Bruno had been in the Anaheim Police Department for six years before the incident occurred.
He was shot during a gunfight but was reunited at last with his best friend and fellow Officer Young.

The then seven-year-old Bruno did not stop even after he was shot. He immediately returned to Young with his face bleeding profusely.

The suspect was killed in the gunfire according to Animal Channel, but Bruno managed to stop him from hurting anybody else.
Bruno, a six-year-veteran of the Anaheim, California Police Force, was immediately rushed to the hospital.
A police escort quickly shut down roads and cleared the roads to the animal hospital, which helped Bruno get to the ER, according to ABC News.
The dog went through surgery to remove to the bullet that was lodged in his lung. According to Animal Channel, the bullet had, in fact, miraculously missed his heart.
After his surgery, Bruno had to recover from a shattered jaw. He had to go through one more surgery before his breathing tube could be taken off, according to Animal Channel.
He finally reunited with his best friend a week after surgery, and his joy was immense.
Officer Young got a new partner after Bruno was injured in 2014, a two-year-old German Shepherd named Yukon, according to Animal Channel.
ABC News added that officer Young planned to officially adopt Bruno and also take care of his medical costs.
