John Allen Amos Jr. is an American actor who is best known for his role as James Evans Sr. on the CBS show "Good Times." However, his resume includes other works such as "Roots," "Coming to America," "The West Wing," "Two and a Half Men," and "The Ranch."

The actor, a family man, shared a selfie with his daughter, Shannon, while they were celebrating Thanksgiving together a few years ago.

Shannon, who is the eldest daughter of Amos with ex-wife Noel Mickelson, looks quite happy posing next to her father. The gorgeous woman is a successful writer/producer and founder of Afterglow Multimedia. She has produced music videos for artists like Snoop Dogg, Jodeci, Ice Cube and Dr. Dre.

She has also worked in the production of Warner Bros. films such as "Blood Diamond," "Letters from Iwo Jima," and "Good Night and Good Luck." In 2009, she launched Afterglow Multimedia, LLC, a boutique talent management and production company that handles the career of thousands of YouTubers and creates media content for diverse platforms.

The animated series "Nubbin & Friends" is a mixture of shows like "Sesame Street" and "Dora the Explorer" and features stories that help kids learn lessons like the alphabet and math.
