Max's first birthday party left him heartbroken when only one friend showed up. A month late his mother organized a second party with a special group of friends.

Seven-year-old Max was crushed when his friends-only birthday party was attended by only one friend who brought along his sister. The party was supposed to take place at a trampoline park in Houston Texas, Unilad reported. His mom Susann was also distraught.

She called in on 94.5 FM The Buzz, a local radio station, to voice the importance of persons RSVPing to event invitations like hers. One of the listeners who heard her was a superhero who wanted to save the day.

Brandi Coatsworth, a member of the Houston Cosplay for Charity group, overheard the call on the station and decided it was a perfect opportunity for her team to chip in.

Brandi explained her act of kindness:

"It only takes a moment to make a difference in someone's life. Seeing the pure joy on his face is why we do what we do, and it really warmed our hears to see such a sweet child so happy.

The short amount of time you take to do something special can have a huge impact on that person's life."

The video showed Max's joy when everyone initially yelled "Surprise" at the party. He wore a smile and covered his face. But he started grinning soon after when some of his favorite superheroes started to walk through the door.

Coatsworth, who played Wonder Woman, gave Max a hug as she entered. Then the rest of the team came in one by one, each giving Max a big hug. Batman, Catwoman, Deadpool, Captain America and more heroes helped Max to fully recover from the month before.

His mom described the events:

"Anyone who knows Max and his story was just heartbroken for him. He's such a great, kind kid that it's hard to hear something like that happened.

When [the radio show] forwarded Brandi's e-mail I was floored. I had no idea something like that would or could happen.

I wasn’t looking to get anything out of it, or any attention at all. The fact that Brandi and Houston Cosplay for Charity jumped in the same day my email was read on the air made my heart smile.

The superheroes jumped in our corner without a second thought and have done more than anyone could ask to make sure Max had the best birthday ever.

I will never be able to thank them enough."

Back in June 2018, it was a mother who got a shocking birthday surprise when her son traveled all the way to Spain for her birthday celebrations.

Brenton, 45, is taped entering the hall and glimpsing into the room. His 67-year-old mother Moira D'Silva is surrounded by guests. Soon, the speaker introduced Brenton.

As soon as she saw her son, Moira almost dropped to the ground as she is overcome with emotion. She then smothered her son with hugs and kisses as tears begin to come.
