'RHOA' Porsha Williams, 37, is expecting her first child with boyfriend: 'It's a dream come true'

TV personality Porsha Williams, best known for “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” revealed that she is expecting a baby with her new boyfriend, Dennis McKinley.

In an interview Williams had with People, she pointed out that even though she was happy about it, fear was on her mind since she suffered a miscarriage six years ago.

The celebrity has been open about that negative experience she endured explaining that she had fibroids and needed to get a myomectomy done, which is a surgical procedure to remove those uterine fibroids.

Williams added that she couldn’t stop wondering whether or not the baby would be okay and make it full term, which are the common questions women ask when they have had a miscarriage.

THE FIRST APPOINTMENT

On the same day she was in the interview with People, she was expected to go to the doctor to see her baby for the first time. Williams revealed that seeing and hearing the baby, and knowing that everything is okay, would help her “wrap” her mind around becoming a mother.

THE PROUD FATHER

Williams is not the only one excited for the upcoming child as her boyfriend, Dennis McKinley, cannot wait for the baby to be born.

“The thought of me getting that blessing after praying for it for so long and getting that blessing with someone who is just as excited as me – it’s Dennis’ first child, just like me – and it’s something we’ve both always wanted … It’s like a dream come true,” added Williams.

THE TEARS OF A FUTURE FATHER

The “RHOA” star also shared with People that McKinley had probably shed more tears during the entire process than her, pointing out that she was going through the sweetest moment of her life.

Williams surprised McKinley with the baby news on his birthday in late July, admitting that all the things they had discussed became a reality and that they wanted to build a strong foundation for their child.

THE NAME

Even though the couple didn’t know the gender of their baby when the interview took place, they have discussed the names. If they have a girl, McKinley would like to name her PJ, which stands for Porsha Jr.

Williams and McKinley have enjoyed their time together as they have been in different places living their best lives. For one of their most recent outings, the couple went to Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s “On the Run II” concert in Houston.

Now that they are expecting a baby, it is fair to say that their relationship in growing strong day after day, especially since they are not keeping their relationship under wraps.
