Lindsay Lohan gets hit by a homeless mom on the street for trying to take her son away from her
"Parent Trap" star, Lindsay Lohan, has found herself in yet another predicament. This recent incident involves two refugee boys and their mother, in Russia.
The 32-year-old actress and singer, who has been in and out of rehab for the past several years, also had a series of unfortunate events. Her latest misfortune was her attempt to save refugee children believed to be victims of human trafficking.
Upon leaving a club in Moscow, Lohan spotted a family of four sitting on the side of the road. She assumed that the boys’ parents were in fact human traffickers and decided to take them back to the her hotel, out of harm's way. Her heroic attempt, however, turned out to be attempted kidnapping.
Lohan insisted that the boys go back with her to her hotel for the night. She had proceeded to follow the parents and children, when they started to head in the opposite direction. As a result, she was hit by the irate mother.
In response, she hurled an insult at the woman and started crying.
The entire event was streamed live on Lohan's Instagram account and has since been removed, but not before it was shared to Twitter via @TurntMinaj.
In the clip, Lohan was seen walking over to the family, who she described as Syrian refugees. She proceeded to offer them temporary abode, suggesting that the children could watch a movie or two.
“Hey everyone I just want to show you a family that I met, a Syrian refugee family that I am really worried about. They really need help.”
Insisting that the boys follow her to her car, Lohan could be heard scolding their mother for allowing them to sleep on the floor.
“You should not have them on the floor. You should be a hardworking woman, and you should be doing what you can for your children, so they have a better life.”
While their parents ushered them away, she persisted and it was at that point that the mother responded physically.
The parents and their children are homeless and their nationality has not been confirmed.
