Man is desperate after getting his girlfriend and mother-in-law pregnant at the same time

A 27-year-old man wrote to an advice column. He had gotten himself into quite a bizarre dilemma.

The man was in a relationship his 21-year-old hotel receptionist girlfriend. She works long hours, and he works as a mechanic.

The two started having arguments which led to a mutual decision to have an open relationship.

One weekend, the man's girlfriend went over to a friend's for a bachelorette party. It was supposed to last throughout the weekend.

Meanwhile, the girlfriend's mother hosted a party for her 39th birthday. She invited the boyfriend since the two attend the same gym.

The mother invited others from the gym as well. According to the boyfriend, the mom could pass for 25 with her fit body.

At the party, there was dancing and lots of alcohol, possibly a bit too much considering what happened next.

The mother suggested that the boyfriend sleep over instead of taking a cab due to his drunkenness. The two washed up together and prepared to settle down for the night.

While cleaning, however, the mother leaned in to plant a small peck on his cheek as thanks. The boyfriend didn't see it coming and he happened to be turning his head at the exact same time.

With that, the two shared a kiss. The boyfriend said he was taken aback at first but enjoyed it. So the pair continued and things escalated.

While the two were having sex on the kitchen table, the girlfriend walked in and saw what was going on. Apparently, she had returned earlier than planned.

"You've really crossed the line, you [expletive]," she said. The boyfriend quickly pointed out their new open relationship status.

That deescalated things until the girlfriend admitted that she herself had slept with a waiter from work. The boyfriend was now the one upset

Then both mother and daughter determined they were pregnant. Due to timing and the mother's claim she hasn't slept with anyone in years, they both believe the boyfriend is the father.

Deidre, the advice writer, responded by saying that the most important factor to consider is the effect on the children's lives.

She suggested the man have a sit-down with each woman and encourage them to consider the consequences.

Deidre implied that there is a solid case to reconsider carrying through with the pregnancies.

There seems to be a slim chance of a relationship with the mother who the man said is "pestering" him to move in. And the man and his girlfriend are no longer even speaking.

After advising the man to think through his readiness to be a responsible parent, she stated:

"Don't mouth statements about being supportive if you're not going to be committed."

Commenters pointed out the outrageousness of the situation. A sister would be an aunt at the same time, they highlighted.

Others said its unlikely that the two women really do share the same father to their unborn children.

We're not sure how this will turn out but if it is as twisted as it seems, it's the kids who will suffer in the end.
