Remember Miles from 'Soul Food'? He is now 55 & shows off ripped muscles in pic
Michael Beach, better known for his roles as cheating husband on films “Soul Food” and “Waiting t Exhale” recently celebrated his 55th birthday, and he looks better than ever. The actor has been sharing his journey to achieve his desire body, and the results are amazing.
Beach turned 55 on October 30, and the day before he took to Instagram to warn his followers that he would be posting some shirtless pics to celebrate his birthday.
He also celebrated the fact that he has managed to keep working out to the point where he’s okay with sharing the pics, even though he’s not entirely comfortable with it. “Honestly, I’m a little uncomfortable about shirtless pics cause my ego is never satisfied. But on this #motivationmonday it’s all about setting #goals & doing your best to achieve them!” he wrote.
And as promised, on Tuesday he posted a series of three shirtless pics taken at his gym flaunting his toned, ripped muscles with natural light and a pair of sweatpants.
In one of the pics he’s seen flexing his arms as he works out with a dumbbell, and in the other two, he’s staring straight to the camera. He captioned it:
“Today I am 55 years old!
#happybirthday to ME
Trust me - age IS a factor when it comes to physical health but so are many other things in life. Don’t let excuses stop you!”

ENCOURAGEMENT FOR HIS FANS
Beach is constantly motivating his followers with advice about wellness and having a positive mindset. He posts his work out sessions and talks about how hard it is to maintain a strict food regimen while living under the same roof as for of his eight kids, who love to eat sweet treats and junk food.
“We all have individual problems we are dealing with on our journeys to better ourselves, and I just wanted to make it clear that I have a few that I’m constantly having to overcome as well! This ain’t easy! But that’s why it feels so good when we reach goals. So let’s keep at it!” he wrote in one of his many inspirational posts.
Beach has been working steadily in Hollywood for three decades. Just this year he appeared in TV series like “The 100,” S.W.A.T,” “For the People,” and “Animal Kingdom.” He also appeared on Marvel’s “Aquaman,” set to be released later this year, and will be starring in the 2019 TV series “Are You Sleeping.”
