The girl in the red Mickey pajamas screams “No!” while her siblings start making disappointing sounds. Then, the same brave girl stands up with her hands of her hip, ready to face up her mom, who repeats “yeah, I kind of eat all of it,” causing the girl to get mad and charge against her out of frame.
Meanwhile, the rest of the kids, two girls, and one boy start loudly crying on the sofa. The boy falls to the floor, showing how devastated he is by the news, while the other girls just keep wipping and looking incredulous at their mom’s betrayal.

The girl in the Micky pajama looks defeated as she joins her siblings on the couch, and then the mom says “I saved your buckets.” But the little boy was not having it. He stands up and stomps his feet walking to the nearest wall, but then thinks it better and throws himself at the sofa, still loudly crying.
People in the comment section of the video has mixed reactions, with some of them calling the mom “mean” for playing with their kids’ hearts like that, and most of them just finding the children very relatable.

The mom seems to be inspired by a Halloween tradition first established by Jimmy Kimmel on his show eight years ago.
The TV host has been asking parents to tell their kids they ate their candy the day after Halloween and record their reaction, and every year the kids fall for it. Some cry, some get mad and slam doors, some tell their parents they’re “extremely disappointed,” but other are sweet about.
