Steph & Ayesha Curry's son flaunts his curly hair while holding grandma's hand in photo

Ayesha Curry, the wife of NBA professional player Stephen Curry, took to Instagram to share a photo of the couple’s only son, Canon, holding the hand of his grandmother.

In the post, the baby appeared laying on a grey couch wearing a white onesie that had several red kisses printed on it with the message “Grandma was here!” written on it. Canon’s curly hair and beautiful eyes were on full display as he was looking directly at the camera.

One of the most striking aspects of the image, though, was the fact that he was holding his grandmother’s hand, Carol.

For the caption, the celebrity chef wrote, “Holding grandmas hand in his grandma onesie. PERFECTION. His face is all ‘heyyyyyyy ladies’ and my heart is like ‘y’all betta back-up from my boy [sic].’”

PEOPLE’S REACTION

As soon as she uploaded that post, her followers took to the comment section to share their thoughts. Most of them complimented the boy saying that he looked both adorable and handsome, while others praised the onesie for the clever design.

DIGGING INTO CANON’S NAME

Soon after revealing the name of their son, Stephen talked about the meaning behind it, how they chose it, and what other option they had. Before choosing Canon, they thought of Wardell Stephen Curry III (and nicknaming him Trey) to continue the family tradition.

However, there were several Treys in Ayesha’s family, and they wanted something special. “Canon just stuck. I passed down his grandfather’s name through his middle name to keep the family ties there,” revealed Stephen, who finally named his son Canon Wardell Jack Curry.

THE MEANING

Once they had chosen it, they did some research to learn more aspects of the name, and they discovered that Canon means “officiant of the church” and “young wolf,” something that made it even better.

Recently, Ayesha and Canon made headlines again with their clever Halloween costumes. In the first image of the slideshow that the proud mother uploaded to Instagram, Ayesha appeared holding Canon up while reaching out for a kiss.

THEIR HALLOWEEN COSTUME

She was wearing a yellow, blue, red, and white dress portraying one of the most memorable Disney Princess, Snow White. The baby, on the other hand, was dressed up with tiny brown pants, a red jacket, a long beanie hat, and a white beard, playing one of the dwarfs in the film.

For the caption, Ayesha pointed out that Canon was Happy, Grumpy, Sleepy, and all the other dwarfs.
