In the November 20 episode of the show, which was entitled “Miracles.” Becky, played by Lecy Goranson, shocked the Conner family when she revealed the big news.

She told her father, “I wasn’t nauseous at work because I was hungover, Dad. I was sick because I’m pregnant.”

Previously, the doctor had already told Becky that there was “less than a five percent chance” of her getting pregnant because of her age.

Becky was somewhat thrilled by the news, but she confessed, “I wish Mom was here. She would be so excited.”

Becky’s mother was played by Roseanne Barr, who had been killed off the show after she was fired following a series of racist tweets.

As for Becky’s father, Dan – played by John Goodman – he was worried about the father of his daughter’s unborn child. Becky told him that the father was a “stranger” and she didn’t need him to take part in raising the child. Still, Dan said to her that the father deserved to know.

Later on, Becky spoke with Jackie, played by Laurie Metcalf, and revealed that she had no idea who the father was because she had spent the night with two men: the restaurant’s manager and the restaurant’s busboy.

Although, Becky learned shortly after that the manager had a vasectomy, which meant the busboy, Emilio, was the father. He tried to convince Becky to let him be a part of the baby’s life.
