Jennifer Lopez looks all classy in black and white while hosting a Christmas shindig

On Saturday night, Jennifer Lopez and her boyfriend Alex Rodriguez hosted a festive event for about 50 people. Their guests consisted of close family and friends.

Some of the people invited were fellow stars who helped turn the event into a mini-concert. Lopez looked elegant and classy in a black-and-white outfit as she entertained her guests.

A source revealed about Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez’s event saying: "The couple wanted close family and friends to celebrate the holidays with them."

Images and videos of the event which were posted on social media showed that the group had a fantastic time. The special occasion even turned into a mini-concert with different stars performing.

"They had David Foster play the piano and sing some songs as well as Sia, who sang Christmas carols."

"The party was very festive with over the top decorations, food, and drinks. Everyone danced the night away and J.Lo and A-Rod thanked everyone for coming and spending such a special night with the couple and their families.”

Both Lopez and Rodriguez posted a number of videos on their social media accounts from the festive gathering. The clips showed how the celebrity couple danced with their friends and another one was of Lopez singing for her guests.

On a recent appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” Lopez got emotional when talking about her relationship with the former baseball professional. She shared how he’d changed and affected her life since they started dating.

The singer and actress revealed:

"He’s come into my life and really contributed in such a way. He’s so supportive, he’s so loving. He’s one of these people, he’s like, ‘Shine, be the best.’ Some people try to dull you down, try to squish you down and he’s so not like that. And it’s just so refreshing. It’s just such a beautiful thing.”

Trying to hold back the tears Lopez explained, "He’s just a very generous, loving spirit, soul.” On Monday, the singer still hadn't completed her Christmas shopping.

She was seen out and about with her boyfriend at The Grove in Los Angeles. For that outing, she wore a leather style jumpsuit in brown and gray heels.

Both she and Rodriguez wore shades at the outdoor mall. He was dressed comfortably for the outing in a blue checkered shirt, a navy puffer jacket, and blue jeans.
